The heroine finds a cute animal or stuffed animal that can talk and takes it home. The animal then turns her into a magical girl and tells her that she has to collect jewel seeds or star drops. Soon after she has to compete with a rival magical girl.

CCS and Nanatsuiro Drops are really similar because of the main idea, in CCS Sakura picks cards and in Nanatsuiro Sumomo picks stars. Kero and Yuki are really similar too, both are supposed to be the "annyoing stuffed animal" although Yuki is less annoying than Kero.

The simularities between the two story lines are in some ways frigtening. While they are different, there is that sameness about them, that makes one think. Both are ironically done by clamp, both have magical girls, and they collect stuff in a jar, trying to be able to achieve that special thing. They have stuffed animals around their sides, and Koboto's main two characters have simularities in looks those from Nanatsuiro Drops, except in Koboto, they have longer hair.

Both of these have a nice twist at the end and have a little more romance than the typical magical girl anime. If you like one I think you would most likely enjoy the other. Both have a cute love story and characters fighting to preserve what they hold dear in life.

Like Akihime, Amu has a little 'character' by her side. This anime is totaly worth watching.

Both anime characters are Design by the same person. I find these characters really likable. Both are Mahou Shoujo Genre, sweet and cute anime.

The relationship between Sumomo and Masaharu is similar to the relationship between Konoha and Amano, and yet some of the dynamics are reversed. Each of the characters brings something to the relationship, and balance each other out. The relationships are also mellow in nature, with only mild conflict, making for a sweet slice-of-life piece.

For me these two stand out as Magical Girl classics. Sailor Moon is the start of the genre while Nanatsu-Iro Drops is a series which tends to be more forgotten, yet is the classic Magical Girl where they collect in order to achieve something.

These two anime titles have almost the same plot, with a girl who knows nothing about powers and one day a stuffed toy visits her. Both the stuffed toys in these anime titles have a male human as their original form. However, Nanatsuiro Drops has a more complicated plot than Magical Canan which makes it not so much cliche of a plot.

Both of these Anime are magical girl Anime. One is a more classic type, while the other makes its own ground. However, there are "rules" the girls have to follow and in both Anime the girls are looking for something specific.

Nanatsuiro Drops and Puchi Puri Yuushi both have cute, 'fluffy' settings with magic as a theme. They also both focus on romance, although the romance is more prevalent in Nanatsuiro Drops. Both of the main characters in these series have to deal with "rivals" who are sometimes viewed by the main character as friends and overcome emotional struggles as well as physical ones.

-Involving magical girls -Girl finds a cute being that requests for help by capturing these certain stuff in order to have their wishes granted -Girl is given magical powers and has friends who help too/ companions -Of course, there are also enemies -Is very pure as in nothing dark or perverted etc. -Involves VERY cute romance -Of course, both main characters are clutz/clumsy airheads -Houkago no Pleiades is more sad, but if you like one, you'd love the other

Both these anime are similar in a way of how some characters interact each other in a way. They also both feature girls transforming and fighting, however Natsuiro Drops contains much more of an innocent feel to it. Lastly, the main characters in both series has a best friend who usually just stands in the background of the fighting, but tries to support them to the best of their abilities.

Both are based off eroge PC games. Both are mahou shojo and both are 12 episodes. With Nanatsuiro Drops--it's hard to tell it's from an eroge video game though.

While Umi Monogatari and Nanatsuiro Drops are both magical girl shows, they mainly focus on the relationships between the characters. There are a few action scenes in each anime, but what is most intense is the character drama. While they both have relaxed pacing and music, they become more dramatic as they progress (although Umi Monogatari is much darker).

While the storylines are different, both are magical girl shows in which the main character falls in love with the main male character.

Both anime are about a dence pink pure hearted pink haired girl who gets mixed up in collecting mysterious gems or crystles to ' send a strange cute toy back to there home planet ) Although in Nanatsuiro Drops he is trying to turn back into a human .

Both series share a few similarities in the story line. The endings are also quite alike, though I'm not going to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched either. =P I recommend both series to anyone who has yet to watch them =]

Both share the same genre mahou girl, and in both the main girls have to collect something for a goal.
report Recommended by Orulyon
Both are race of the magic girls to obtain something to become the number one, in one case to become a princess, and in the other to become the number one magic girl.

Similar in the fact that they both have mini characters, a special type of power, and also a similar love story.
