Poorly animated, bad character design, no real dialogue; all essential for a good H-Anime, and all lacking in Buta hime-Sama. College students could have animated this one better.
If you're into this niche, than give it a shot, if you questioning about, maybe, checking this one out, I'd say no. With the poor animation added on top of the bad character design it just makes for a really low-quality and quite boring h-anime.
PS- Since when did slobber and snot become attractive?
Buta Hime-sama is hentai anime based on a game by ORCSOFT.
Story focuses on a big breasted, blonde girl chosen to be lover of pig-demon and there's a twist to it but saying any word more will spoil the fun as the story is very limited.
There is not much to praise in this tittle.
Story is short and not complicated, there is background music, voice cast and acting is ok but nothing more. And this will continue in every aspect - it's ok but nothing more.
I personally found odd the way of the mouth to be drawn yet it might be on purpose.
If you enjoy large breasts,
curvy lines, saliva, mild rape/forced sex scenes and loads of sperm dropping here and there you will be delighted but this is tittle for a connoisseur rather then random person interested in hentai.
Story: 5/10. There was no synopsis for this anime when i watched it. Just like SOME hentais, an anime girl turns into a slave by getting kidnapped or walking into a place where she wants to see the Master, right? But NO! This hentai was just plain LAZY. In the beginning, the not-so-pretty main character shows us her beautiful body and walks into a room that has a ugly slave and the orc... and don't get me started on the boy near the end of the hentai.
Art: 5/10. The art kinda disappoints me. Its like when the
girls climax, they look like they're sad (i know this happens in some hentais but this one was cringy). The second girl character sounded like a high-school anime girl but she looks like a adult. I was already fine with the main character looking that way. Anyways, i see that Kuroinu did a good job making their hentai animation looking like the same in this hentai but at least the girls didn't have a anime woman looking face and beautiful character looks, There was no ahegao. (i watched early 2000 [2000-2003] hentais and i know that they don't show ahegao but at least it was beautiful) The art was bland.
Sound: 7/10. The sound matched the characters but not the animations.. except the orc (because the girls looked weird)
Characters: 3/10. The characters bore me.
Enjoyment: 4/10. I barely enjoyed it. Like i said in the art, the animation was pretty bland and there was no ahegao, which made me completely bored.
Overall: 5/10. If you seen this hentai already, go watch Kuroinu and compare both.
"The past seems nothing but a faint illusion now."
These are the thoughts of a beautiful queen as she prepares to spend the rest of her life in perpetual sexual servitude to a monstrous beast, in exchange for the safety of her people.
This is the extent of the back-story for "Buta Hime-Sama." Achieving balance by tempering exposition before it drags down a production, turning it into a bore, and not giving so little information as to make it a bare-bones offering, is quite a task for a one-episode hentai. Unfortunately, like many others, it's over just as it starts getting good. "Buta Hime-Sama" starts promising, jumping
right to the action, but gradually loses steam and focus.
Judging by the subject matter and the usual content for this type of work, you would expect there to be some BDSM elements involved. There is no bondage, nor physical abuse to speak of here. Instead, the nature of this "bondage" is mental: "Serve me or your people will suffer." And this is where "Buta Hime-Sama" both succeeds and falters.
The offender is presented in a manner not usually depicted in hentai: He is large and disgusting, but calm and collected as well. He is not the mindless beast at the command of a human, serving as entertainment. He demands submission from the female leads, but does not physically exert his wrath upon them. There are certainly aspects of dominance and submission (D/s), as the women yield to his will, offering no resistance. The problem is that this aspect is too tame and under-developed. What should be disgusting and disturbing simply serves as more of an accessory to the sex scenes. The mind-break aspect, craving for orgasm without regard for anything else, is approached almost instantly. And that's the second major problem with Buta Hime-Sama: It is too short.
In twenty-five minutes you get several scenes between the beast and two women, and, in a very mediocre finale, a young man makes an appearance. Most of these scenes could have been handled better, without repeating the same scenes and dialogue. Everything feels utterly lifeless and the characters, including the beast, are all passive participants.
It's not all bad, however. In one particularly memorable scene near the beginning, you will truly believe the queen is terrified of her situation. Moments like these are fleeting and short-lived. So what's the point? Why do something half-assed? If you're going to make a hentai about women being dominated by a giant pig-man, then push the envelope! I understand not everyone wants "extreme" content, but there are plenty of tame alternatives in animated porn library. Sexual fetishes, interests, and preferences are completely subjective, but I feel this was a missed opportunity. Focus on the beast dominating and training the women. Make the dialogue more interesting. Have the women crawl on all fours, for crying out loud. Why would you expect anything less from something like this? It's disturbing-- it should be!
Modern hentai seems to attempt to cater to several different audiences at once. It is an unfortunate trend, because what you get is generally smidgens of several different short scenes, rather than a well-developed hentai representative of its genre. With only one episode, "Buta Hime-Sama" could have surely benefited from a clearer focus; better direction. Again, like so many other hentai, it's over as soon as it starts getting good.
I truly think this hentai deserves a second chance, or, at least, the subject matter does. A more focused approach to the "Master and slave" aspect, preluded by a build-up of tension as we experience the queen's shame of serving a horrendous beast, the fear of displeasing him, and her horror of having to face him in the first place. This should have been an OVA with a forty-five minute run-time. With contemporary hentai like "JK to Orc Heidan" and "Kuroinu" (nevermind the large backlog of "monster" hentai) presenting monsters as mindless rapists, it would be refreshing to give us a non-human antagonist with a commanding presence who demands obedience and sexual submission from his subjects. This hentai needed "more," plain and simple. More of everything that is only teased here.
"Buta Hime-Sama" is a victim of circumstance and poor direction. Being based on a game surely limited what would be shown. Unfortunately, "Buta Hime-Sama" is both tantalizingly unique and terribly subdued. It will be remembered as woefully mediocre, if remembered at all.
