This was one of the most simple anime I've ever seen, but it's nevertheless heart warming. The story's about an anthropomorphic cockroach girl who wants to befriend humans, but gets treated as all cockroaches get treated by humans. The episodes are very short, each about 8 minutes long, there are only 2 episodes released so far, and the animation is basic. The characters don't actually move their mouths when they talk, and a lot of "action" scenes are repetitive. Overall, the simplicity of the story, the characters, and the situations is surprisingly heart warming. If you want to feel good, and have 16 minutes to
spare, you should definitely check this out.
So, here we have Gokicha!! Cockroach girls. I expected a lot more from this, even after seeing that it was 'ongoing' apparently. This is a very short anime (16 minutes) but it is really heart-warming, hence why I set the story so high up. However, everything else about this anime though is a general disappointment. To begin with, the animation is awful, the characters don't even move their mouths when they talk, the actions scenes are basically looped over and over. What annoyed me most though is the potential this anime had all went to waste, for example, the characters don't get developed further
than their origins and their names...thoroughly disappointed with this anime, I don't recommend you watch it unless you're really bored and have a spare 16 minutes
Everyone has heard the catchy Spanish folk song, "La Cucaracha," about a cockroach unable to walk because he has lost one of his six legs. While the song may be loved by children and fun to sing along to, it is highly unlikely that anyone feels the same affection for this icky-inspiring and disease-spreading pest. Cockroaches are believed to have originated more than 280 million years ago, in the Carboniferous era. Cockroach the Legend.
To be honest I don’t really know why I’m watching this series. Since it already pin my interest, I think I give this series a shot. After all, there are only
2 episodes with lasted 8 min per episode. Total is 16 mins you will be spending for this series. Not really a wasted time even the show is bad or worse isn’t it? But time is gold. So treasure every moment you have preciously.
Talking about cockroach, when I was little, I was running around the house and bump into everything just because a cockroach flying towards me. I can see he's really fire up to catch me. I don't know the cockroach motive but that's a really bad, bad manners. I want to said it twice. Gosh! Kust remembering it sends chills down my spine! It's must be a conspiracy. Let's get back to the story.
The story of Gokicha! Or can be called CockGirl for short is undeniably a quite heartwarming series. The series maybe quite short but it’s actually really great. A story about a cockroach name Gokicha, who wants to be friends with a human and always value what you say common sense. Unfortunately, every human in the series treats her with a really rough and harsh attitude as any human in real life would do. I’m really enjoying episode one, since it’s also pretty fun to watch. Not like some anime I’ve watch with have a really high pressure. So you can relax with this one. Take it easy and watch it calmly. Kind of enjoyable series. Watch it if you’re looking for some nice anime with relaxing atmosphere.
Art and Animation 6/10
It’s not really that worse but also not that great either. It's good and literally fine. You have my words.
Enjoyment and Overall 7/10
Sometimes we need to rest ourselves from complicated things. Why don't we take this slowly and enjoy our life to the fullest it can reach? Anyway, yes, I'm admit that I really enjoy this short ONA. Give this series a thumb!
