Well I just finished madoka magica, overall it was alright. The highlight for me was definitely episodes 10 - 12 where we get to finally see Homura's back story and the wish she made that was pretty cool. When it comes to things I didn't like it, 1st of the animation for the whitches. I dont like seeing these 2 completely different art styles, its just off putting and none of the whitches seem especially memorable to me. They just have a bunch of weird abstract objects and shapes that make up their bodies. 2nd I dont really like madoka as the protagonist. For 90%

Overall I enjoyed it. Just like the name of the series, pretty much all the characters are scum and for the most part unlikable. The only character that didn't act like a manipulating asshole was Moka, Mugi's childhood friend. Its a messed up series man, like idk I just felt uncomfortable watching it at certain scenes. Also Mr.Kanai... like I get that hes in love with Akane but its like dude, she's a slut and openly said that she would cheat on you. Even if she changed idk how he could trust her or already be asking her to marry him after their 2nd date.

So this film has the same mature and adult tone as the fujiko mine series which I thought overall was good. I really enjoy the Lupin the 3rd series but this was pretty disappointing overall. Right from the beginning we already know that Jigen is not going to actually die which kills some of the mystery or any kind of “suspense” the viewer is supposed to be in. Also what was the point of having Fujiko Mine in this? 90% of her inclusion in this film is just her locked in a glass enclosure naked getting attacked by a robot. Her presence in this was
