I really liked it. I think it's worth for the animation alone, a true piece of visual art excellence. The story is serviceable and the characters all have well defined personalities.

Since this movie is the first piece of Macross media that I consume, it made me want to seek out the other releases, so yeah I would definitely recommend it if you like sci-fi and space opera :) .

Also I know that there is an OVA of Macross Plus that is basically the same thing with a few different scenes (the movie came out later), but I haven't watched it. Dunno which version is considered better though.

Opa, eu amei o filme, acho que tu já viu aquele famoso meme do "eu sem entender porra nenhuma", n diria q é exatamente isso, mas parecido, o filme é confuso e tem mts metafóras então n é algo q vai agradar td mundo, ainda mais por ser um ritmo diferente, mas é como eu disse, é mais algo em relação a sentimento, vc sb oq ta sentindo apenas não consegue por em palavras, acho q tu já viu algum anime ou qualquer outra mídia com um sentimento parecido.

tendi, vi q tu tem como fav tonikaku, tou a bom tempo para ver essa obra, tenho um pouco preconceito com o traço, oq é ironico, pq tbm tinha preconceito com o traço de clannad, e acabou q se tornou minha obra favorita.
