Next time don't label people who genuinely thought it was great on it's own merits simply as ''Yuasa fanboys rating it higher just cuz'', it's the reason why there are hate comments on your profile in the first place.

Welp, came from your forum post to say that your complete lack of understanding of Devilman: Crybaby's themes is astonishing.
Criticism of the social construct, prejudiced discrimination, anti-war. etc. etc. and not only did it explore those themes, it explored them well.
But I guess you never noticed huh.

And yet you get moist over Evangelion which ripped off Devilman's ending literally 1 to 1 (the original Devilman manga is from 1972).
Eva's my fav anime too, so it's weird how something so similar to it in a certain regard you rate lower than Eva.
Is it the sex scenes? Boo hoo.

And there is Madoka Magica, which is a complete mess in terms of plot and structure, it has more plot holes than a swiss cheese has holes, but I guess since it's a deconstruction then it's good?
