| Oof, this episode flew by. Perfectly adapted, even as a manga reader this entire episode was more impactful than I anticipated. I also love that they're adding and changing certain sequences to make everything more compelling. |

| really a very thoughtful episode about the meaning of life for Thorfinn. His warrior soul have a little spark agains Snake. And in the end we saw Canute much grown since last time |

| "Thank you for waking me up Einar." They did change up the 2nd half of the episode from what happened in the manga but this change made it so much more impactful and helps add more depth to Einar's character. The dream sequence completely blew me away. |

| Looks like Snake's test got the old skills of Thorfinn back to life during their short sparing match. With that matter settled and Thorfinn finally getting patched up from his injuries, Einar asked him questions about whether Thorfinn has been in a war and killed human, which he said "yes" in response. It definitely added to the turmoil of Einar's mind as he came very close to choking Thorfinn to death, while Thorfinn himself was having a pretty bad nightmare, which had him screaming in his sleep before he woke up. Honestly, you can't blame Einar for having the red mist descend on him after his talk with Thorfinn in the forest, considering what he has gone through in his life already, but I'm glad that he was able to get his senses in check and had a much needed talk with Thorfinn. You can see that progress was made when Thorfinn thanked Einar for earlier. Both men have gone through hell, but here's hoping that they can rely on each other more from here on out. =) We finally got to see Canute once again at the end of the episode and his look is vastly different to what he looked like from before. The next episode previews him and some other familiar faces getting the spotlight, which I look forward to seeing next week. |

| This was probably the best episode we have had of Season 2 so far. Seeing Thorfinn's true understanding of war with the nightmare scenes looking absolutely terrifying was chilling. |

| great chapter Thorfinn is already getting more development thanks to Einar Thorfinn still knows how to fight quite well, I was surprised that he reacted like this to Serpent The chapter at an artistic level was very good as always and the ambient sound effects were the best in this chapter According to the progress of the chapter we will see familiar faces again To be patient and wait for the next chapter! |

| loved the flashbacks, those warriors in a different art style looked cool too. tough seeing how einar was with thorfinn tho, considering what's become of thorfinn. really feel for him. einar doesn't really know about how many ranked lobbies thorfinn has joined and his kill count, bro used to be goated behind the sticks. the moon scene at the end was heavenly. |

| All the episodes have been good so far with one being a strong start, but this is by far the best episode. Goddamn. I'm glad the anime is showing even more how fucked up Thorfinn's life has been (especially his involvement in such violence as a child). And I was wondering if they'd do a Canute tease at the end and thought that they wouldn't but lo and behold it happened. I am not complaining. |
