| Wow that was actually anti-climatic.... very anti-climatic, the CGI of the Katana guy felt disturbing to look at. I wished characters had more better motivations as thing goes on. When it comes to fights, I wanted some sort of creativity or explanation to it. |

| The animation and character designs are really good but the plot and characters themselves are very lacking imo. The fanservice is also very weird. I'm just watching because of the god tier Mappa and the fights. Most overhyped anime of the year imo. Really hope it gets better like many manga readers say. 6/10 |

| Such an excellent anime, lots of action, drama, and some comedy sprinkled here and there. The memory and farewell to Himeno via the ghost devil offering her cigarette that read "Easy Revenge" was great, and Aki remembering that the ghost devil senses through fear was perfect. Meanwhile Power and Denji offering a bit of comedy relief was also great. It's too bad Akane got decapitated (well not fully too bad) but it looks like there's enough of the gun devil's flesh to see where it goes. I really enjoyed watching this weekly and this was AOTS for me. I'm going to miss watching it on Tuesdays and look forward to the next season when it is announced. This was a solid 9/10 for me although I can't really say why not a 10/10 other than I heard it's going to get better. |
| Such a phenomenal season and finale. The final fight was better than I remembered from the manga. Mappa out did themselves with this adaptation. The CGI could stand out a bit at times, but it was still really good overall. And man that tease at the end, SHE IS HERE. Overall, a 9/10 for me. |

| 8/10 Some things could've been better, but also could've been much worse. Overall, I think Mappa did a great job with the adaptation. I've read 6 volumes of the manga, so I knew the story this season was going to cover. This allowed me to focus on details and themes more. The theme of manipulation and exploitation is what stuck out the most. Denji was manipulated and used by the Yakuza boss, then Makima, then Power, then Himeno (not as bad as others, but still). You can argue Aki wanted to use him as a weapon against Gun Devil as well. Basically, not one person really cared about Denji. And he's too naive to realise. Is this situation about to change for the better? Or maybe for the worse? Find out in the next arc. |

| oh well why was i even worried about aki in last episodes cliffhanger? holy shit i don't even wanna know the state of power's digestive system. she's got a human body and eating some things's hand raw like that? tf? katana man had it so bad lmao. poor guy. aki joining in was the best part. this was probably my favourite ed. not the song but the visuals. loved it. 8/10 overall. i just wish it was 2 cours. |

| Smoking's not that bad in Aki's case, it actually helped him lmao. Which means it's time to say goodbye to the Snake Devil and Kobeni's confidencec and knife-usage were excellent. She ain't the pussy from back then anymore. I really do like how strong she is, but her whole personality is hiding it. Denji vs Katana Man on the train is probably one of the best action sequences of 2022. I must say, the uncensored and barely noticable cgi was just done so well. Aki and Denji then beating the shit outta him. Oh man, the ending song by Eve is just brilliant. Does he ever miss? Never. |

| As someone who's been reading Chainsaw Man since chapter 1, I'm extremely satisfied with the adaptation. Thank you so much for this amazing adaptation. Now I can't wait for my favorite arc to be animated and watch Ueda Reina as Reze. |
| If you wouldn't kick the guy who killed your friend in the nuts over and over again until the cops showed up, were you ever even friends? Still a strong ending to a good run, albeit with some minor hiccups here and there. Looking forward to S2! |

| This show was lacking saturation, but all in all, the art-style did grow on me. Excited to see Reze teased, and therefore, excited for season 2. |
| Slice of Life parts in this show are the best. I really liked this trio dynamics in the end. Not sure about the plot itself, honestly, I'm not all that interested in what is going to happen, but the anime was indeed entertaining with good quality direction. Wouldn't mind watching another season. |
