| TBH, I view the Doctor as a male in the game. Just so I can see my Doctah having a Harem, lol. However, from a lot of backstories... Doctor seems to be similar to other "long living beings" in Arknights world, and majority of them are all Females. In the game, we never see the face, or even the EYES and HAIR of Doctor, it's always covered up by a sheet of Black veil. But in the anime, they literally start out with the Doctor's face, and gave Doctor a sort of female voice. This means the authors of Arknight is leaning toward Doctor being of female origin. You could also view it similar to Kal'tsit, who is "female", however she's suppose to be a being of genderless cosmos before male or female was even realized in the universe. (this is also a theory, as the only thing we know is Kal'tsit is possibly the oldest being in the Arknight's Planet, TERRA), however Doctor is suppose to also be VERY old and has countless commanding knowledge with seemly infinite ability to befriend high ranking people from all races and expand Rhodes Island as a major powerhouse that everyone eventually relies on. We also don't know what race Doctor is, as it's also never told in the game. Doctor's appearance is theorized to be similar to "Humans" (aka, Rainbow6 collab, with no animal traits like ears, tails, feathers, horn, fur, etc etc), however we also know Doctor isn't a "Isekai" meaning Doctor might be the first and only "Human" naturally evolved on TERRA. ___ ___ ___ In a way, you could probably call Doctor "Jesus of Arknight" as his/her goal is to cure Oripathy (aka, giga cancer) and to bring peace to Arknight world and save everyone. |
