| Askeladd is such a badass. He is the true protagonist of this show. It took him just two years to beat the object of his hatred. I wonder if Thorfinn has had a realization and will change his tactic from now on, or is he gonna keep doing the same thing until something else kills Askeladd? It is naive for Cnut to believe that he can change the world. While he may be able to achieve this during his lifetime, his dream will perish with him. The world requires an eternal ruler to ensure that prosperity, peace, and order can prevail for as long as possible. |
