A Little Bit About Myself
My name is Chelsea, I am 21 years old, my birthday is July 28th, I'm bisexual, and I graduated high school year 2010. I am happily taken by my boyfriend Cody! We have been dating since October 20th, 2010. I took 3 years of Japanese while in high school and am continuing the language through Rosetta Stone. I encourage everyone to take the class if possible! And if not possible, Rosetta Stone has not only kept my Japanese fresh, but has also taught me more than what I learned in school. Summer of 2009, I participated in a program where I stayed in Japan for 2 weeks. I traveled between Nagoya, Hamamatsu, and Kyoto. In the future, I hope to become a Japanese to English translator (for big manga publishing companies, specifically yaoi ones).
My favorite animal is a cat! I have 2 cats: Peepee and our new kitten, Stinker. I share 2 sugar gliders with my boyfriend, their names are Satou (female) and Jew (male).
I can recommend yaoi to just about anyone, based off of preferences, so feel free to pm me if you want a recommendation. Yaoi is my biggest hobby and obsession, so feel free to talk about yaoi with me anytime. (Please note: I mean yaoi as in canon, not slash).

1. COTM for May is Tohru/Natsuno from Shiki: This is the thread – you can post your cards there, or put them in the admin thread. Please have them done before April 30th, so that it can open on May 1st.
2. Mangaka of the month: Yamamoto Kotetsuko will be the mangaka for May 2013. This is the thread – you can post your cards there, or put them in the admin thread. Please have them done before April 30th, so that it can open on May 1st.
3. If you want to put a post limit on your cards, feel free to do so. However, unless all of the card makers have a post limit, please do NOT close the COTM card threads prematurely. I would like it if we could at least keep them open until the 20th of that month. That way, they close the same day as the voting threads. ^^

Since there are 3 of you active, I just thought it’d be cool if the three of you split up the 12 months, and we had a different layout each month that featured the COTM? I haven’t heard anything from any of the layout makers since making this suggestion last month… it’d be nice to have a new layout soon though. =) Would one of you please step up for this?
INACTIVE ADMIN: anriolytic’s profile says she is inactive and her last log-in is from January. I will likely remove her at the end of this month if I do not hear anything. =(

They didn't really specify what would be in the book but since it is being made by Gush and the only series she's had publish by Gush are Little Butterfly, Challengers, and Koisuru Boukun, and the fact that they are requesting Koisuru Boukun questions I'm assuming that the art book will probably mostly focus on Koisuru Boukun (if not completely).

So, they are asking for questions to put in the art book! If you have questions about Takanaga Hinako or Koisuru Boukun make a tweet with the hashtag #takanaga_gush. All questions to be put in the art book must be submitted by March 10th.

2. Mangaka of the month: Shimotsuki Kairi as Kannei stated will be the mangaka for March 2013. I’m not at all familiar with her works, but please click the link and you will see which of her titles are yaoi. There aren’t too many, but it’d be awesome if a few card makers can make just like 1 or 2 cards for this!
3. General announcement for card makers: We’ve seen very little activity for card making, and no one has said they are on hiatus… I really want to keep open communication, so please post in the staff/admin thread to state what cards you will make, if you can not participate this month, or if you can only make one of the two categories, anything will work! =)

INACTIVE ADMIN: Toshiru, asinankurus – may be removed if I don’t hear anything by the time March comes around. This means Toshiru’s official member cards may also be removed, so that people aren’t requesting them.

I’m really busy in RL so I’m only keeping up with the official member cards, but hopefully I can still manage the oversight of the club and be here to answer any q’s you might have (send me a PM to really grab my attention if you need it). I’d appreciate if each of the admin at least drop by regularly in the admin thread for discussion. Let’s get organized again! =D
i honestly think your list is wonderful. i mean, even with my number of manga i felt tired from time to time. and recently i have trouble in finding ones i really like... have you ever felt bored reading yaoi?
A LIl more Activity from all of you would be great if you dont have time just say soo in the staff thread but letting the Hole club move on without doing anything is the same like last time soo get in the Staff thread and give us at least a Living Sign of yourself !!!!!!! ***

WOW, and so I have noticed... I keep on forgetting the manga titles I read (yaoi and not) so I cannot really track them but now you inspire me. I like CJ Michalski and Yamane Ayano plus Minami Haruka for yaoi manga-ka. <3
AHHHHHHH-- Have you read Heart of Thomas? I find that and Kaze to Ki to be very very very BEAUTIFUL. They are just... CLASSIC. I love classic things (SIGH--I know, boring) and older anime/manga are just... surreal. Have you heard of Red River or Anatolia Story? :D
