Random conversations and activities throughout. No solid storyline in either; both don't need it, the characters are enough!

They both have the same dramatic feel to it. Both sound tracks are phenomenal. Both are about love and friendship too. However, Clannad as some supernatural elements and takes place in High school where as Honey and Clover is basically 100% real college life with no supernatural elements.

They're both very very funny anime's, their humor is VERY similar but GTO is a bit more ecchi at times. Also both are episodic in nature, meaning there's no MAIN plot, just a couple plots that last a couple episodes each with themes.

Both are about not giving up on unrequited love. Also they have a similar art style and humor and are about the same length!

A bunch of girls like one guy. However, the main character in shuffle! has a different personality than the main male lead in School Days (aka the shuffle! guy is actually sincere). Also, they both get pretty serious towards the end. School Days more so.

Kanon (2006)

Although the girl to one guy ratio is larger in Kanon, they both have a lot of love and drama going on. Suzuka is more realistic in terms of the story and setting.

They both have to do with high school love situations. They both have drama. They both keep you watching and they both play a lot with you're emotions.
