Completely agree with everything you've written about Spiegel from SAO: II. He's probably the worst character I've ever seen in an anime series... he takes obliviousness to oblivion and back.
Yea, I thought BRS was awesome. They took the characters to a whole different level.
I don't see why so many people had a problem with it. I mean it's an anime based off of figures, ofc it's gonna be purely character driven! And, I thought they did an excellent job.

Them theories are all over the place. Some are even fun to read. And some are so painfully ridiculous that it stopped being fun a long time ago. Especially a certain someone who always has to explain everything with chaos theory, and not just explaining it, but blowing it into huge proportions like the slightest change leading to "dinosaur alien invasion."
And it seems like it's the time of the year when computers just die. My motherboard went and died a week ago or two, so I'm confined to my laptop until I get the money to buy a new motherboard, which is after summer. No income during summer and whatnot. And I have to buy my LOLHeroes BDs as well. ಠ_ಠ

Now that you mention Nae, I suddenly remembered something I read in one of the two Steins;Gate manga series (the one with Suzuha as the main character). And well, no names were actually mentioned in it, and it doesn't really look like her or anything, but I somehow get Nae-vibes from this one person in it. Oh well. ┐(￣ー￣)┌
Skipping writing anything about the first couple of lines, since I have a habit of unintentionally spoiling things.
And adding to how Okarin and Suzuha in the OP is funneh, so is the haircut of the person climbing out of the satellite before the first "shift". But you probably noticed that already, seeing as where your current theory is pointing.
I can say that there are 3-4 certain events that I'm looking forward to very much, but I don't really remember getting further than those in the vn, when I started on it before. Then the sad day came when my pc crashed, and I never got around to reading it again since now.
My plan now is, so as not to ruin my watching experience, to read the corresponding part for each episode soon after watching the episode in question.
And I was going to go through the part for ep3 today, but I've been too busy playing Portal 2. Really great game, just sayin'. And I'll probably wait a few more days, since I need to finish Ar Tonelico 2 soon as well.
And here I go with my rambling again. As soon as I start writing, there's no end to it.
