I watched Nana a long time ago. It's long overdue for a rewatch and I feel it's something I'm going to like a lot more having grown up a bit. I'm sure there's a lot of charm to it much like other shoujo works that I can find now. I've always loved the strong 2000s aesthetic and appreciate its more grounded, real tone still heavily reliant on shoujo tropes much more.
Putting aside our "gang-stalking incident" (lmfao) with him and the systematic deconstruction of his character, profile and self-esteem, and onto his argument with SingleH; it's wild how over a year before--in May 2022--he was getting called out for the same cowardly and insidious passive-aggressive nature in front of everyone (by someone who never goes out of their way to respond to comments, no less) and took away zilch from that hoping people would just forget.
The most highly regarded episodes so far have been the ones that lean into the series' prosaic battle shounen aspect, funnily enough. And the power system is primarily just "unga bunga energy blast".
