He's a director to watch out for. Very skilled. I will look forward to watch whatever he does in the future. He seems to know what he's doing, where he's going with it, and he's able to create great suspense. He took a great manga, and made a great show. I loved his changes to the manga, he knew when to and how to end the show, put a great bookend on everything. He is a master of storytelling.

I see he's directing the next Obata series. hey he did an amazing job the first time, why not give him another eh?

This guy certainly knows how to pull of good and immersive storytelling.
Both Death Note and Gungrave are a shining examples of that.

Ah this guy handled Death Note very well. He's sort of young too. I hope he directs something else soon.
