ok this anime is a complete mess were the characters are just fascinating enough that if done right there might be something there. with that said the time given while entertaining there is not much to the characters. the plot is a complete mess and less a plot and more a very messily told journey. the animation is average and really outside of the nudity there is nothing worth noting about it. really the main reason to watch this is for those looking for something so bad it is good. there were seven times i just stated what because of how rush ... and sudden something happen while bad at least i feel some people could get a decent amount of enjoyment because of that.while i do feel if it was a tv series it might of had a chance of being actually good. at the very least i can say if you enjoy train wreck anime at the very least this can provide that. that gives it some worth over the sea of titles that fail to give anything unique with the short time they have so end up having very little to keep them sinking to the bottom of the sea of anime.

well was not a bad journey it just sadly being a movie causes some problems this should of been a series or at the least a ova separated in a couple episodes.

i honestly liked the story while simple has the making if a epic space journey that many know and love. this has about three different places all interesting. it kind of reminds be a bit of galaxy express were each new place has something interesting and really draws you in to learning details on what is happening. the issue as a movie there is a main issue the gets loosely connected to ... the journey making it feel a bit off as a result. as movie often are meant to be more focus getting kind of episodic just makes it feel like it was meant to be a tv series but was cut so they threw it into a movie.

while the animation is average i would say the art is were it gains a few points.each world has it own stylize look and many details were given to build it and differentiate them.the designs of the characters to the design of the backgrounds really help get drawn in to what is happening.

the sound is fine i really cant think of anything that was bad but nothing stood out as good it basically does what it needs to and really it did as good as was needed.

the characters are fine but little was done to build up the main character. he is your average hero on a mission.since this was also had a kind of episodic adventure while the side characters do enough to help build the world much more care was given to the world so none are great.the with that said at the very least i can say i found none of the characters to be bad or annoying.

this in the end is a fun little journey that biggest flaw is as a movie it feels a bit disjointed which sadly hurts the movie a bit.if this was a ova or even better a full series this probably could of felt less award and done much better. the in the end this has enough to entertain and enjoy and is a decent watch it just it is a bit sad as there is a structure if it was used had the potential for it to be so much more.

there needed to be more narration. while normally with movies and shows it should try tell things more with showing. do to the history and connections there needed to be more telling. to help the viewer to understand the connections and characters. the main character and the emperor are the only connections and place in the story that is clear. when it comes to the women it is pretty hard to follow and becomes incoherent. which is bad as in a ... way there connections to the main character is the most important things.this means so much of the value of watching this tail is lost .

like i said this part is very good. which it better be as the movie gets so distracted by the visuals and art it takes over everything. the art decided to make things closer to old japenese art which it pulls off wonderfully. this is maybe the only reason it might be worth it for some people to watch it. as those who love art and culture will get something unique. this anime loves to have long scenes to try and engulf the viewer in it. the it does over indulge in this to much were it risks you getting bored as a result do to how drawn out they can be.

sound 6
the music is good often using that soothing melody you might of heard if you watched other historic set anime. the sadly as good as it is and its really good specially helping establishing setting . this is the only praise i can give the sound as the voice acting has no emotions. i think this might be a result of the studio trying to do this to help ease the viewer in the setting. the issue is it might be fine with some scenes but the scenes showing the character getting ready for passionate sex. should have a different voice tone then him having a casual conversation . The voice acting should of had more life to them but it basically all characters sound like there talking about boring office stuff.

characters 2
the main character really is the only one who has the slight bit of character. the problem is all there is is he is the the son of the emperor who over time had personal attachments to different women. the movie decided the art should do all the work. so while it might looks absolutely beautiful it badly fails to establish much about these women. the art takes so much control it gets downright incoherent and confusing that narration would of fix a number of issues.

in the end this gets so carried away with using music and art to artistically tell this story it sadly fails to let the focus go anywhere else . while it might be interesting to analyze if you love to see something unique and whats parts succeed and fail. this anime might be like a beautifully produced painting but forgets that unlike paintings were you analyze them and enjoy the beauty and make your own meaning base on what your seeing. with anime and shows the reason it is more then just one image is to give a more clear view and give a story. sure for some anime interpretation may play somewhat of a important part but they still need to be establish properly set up and so many other things that make it completely different to looking at art. i want to like this more i really do but unless you have a soft spot for art and culture this is really hard to recommend and i would recommend watching Genji Monogatari Sennenki instead as with a little narration it ends up being so much better at setting things up

i feel this needed atleast one negative review from a person who just plain did not enjoy this anime

i found the art to be the best part of this anime i can atleast say it is eye catching but the actual animation is average

as for the sound i watched subbed and i found some characters Ooba, Eimi and Inagawa, Yuu were plain annoying but outside of that the other voices were not really notable the i do feel the characters with annoying voices were not bad enough were it ruined the anime just bad enough to make me like the ... characters less

ok the structure of the anime is weird the first thing i feel is important to mention this season is really purely a slice of life really the anime only a few times tried to make a joke which to me were not funny but for the most part it just plain do not attempt to be a comedy this honestly effects thing base on seeing the second season it is structure specifically to be partially support by comedy as the comic plot while having good interesting moments are not detailed enough to support things on its own and are way to far apart that huge chunks and even entire episodes ended up being boring and pure waste of time likely do to that space was meant to have comedy but didn't

really there only two interesting character the main character Sendou, Kazuki who journey was slightly interesting and if had more detail focus would of been much more interested but sadly only really succeeds at being the only thing to provide entertainment and enjoyment do to being relatable do to his inexperience the other character worth noted is Takase, Mizuki who a bit to often was annoying as to often it showed her angry at the main character specially early on it the show but can be likable and supporting the main character that sometimes help the main character figure something out about himself as for the rest of the character at best there really not one single thing worth noting at worse they are are just plain annoying and honestly feel like they might be plain missing most of there character specially when viewing season 2 were these characters definitely have much more of a personality that resulted in a great difference likely do it actually having comedy in a comedy anime

overall this anime i feel greatly suffered as a result it basically cutting out the comedy as base on the second season it is strongly structured into the anime as without it the characters the structure of the anime ended up badly falling flat as it did not restructure to be more detailed about creating manga to make up for the fact there was no comedy so it resulted in things being extremely bland and boring because it was missing a key thing about it outside of a few moments that were decent but not enough to support the anime alone this anime just lacked far to much but the second season had comedy and basically showed everything this season was missing and if you like me find this season boring might be best not bothering to finished and give the second season a chance to see if you enjoy it more

ok this anime is bad but does not deserve a 1 but sadly it falls flat on it face this might be because despite having anime industry veteran both studios involved never made a tv series before so this possible resulting in how too many times it fell on it face to say this was good it is messy and there are interesting things but it never focuses enough to get what can be taken from it to satisfy those interested

story well this was one of the things that had some worth problem is with the characters as weakly written as they ... were it would of been better to start things at the beginning of things falling apart so atleast watching the world fall apart and see the failed attempts to keep order and save civilization might of provided a decent amount of entertainment and distract from the weakness but sadly it starts after most of the human world been wiped out issue two there was basically no good reason for time travel this always unnecessarily distracts from things but the worse part is the ending which just gave up and had stupid twist ending that basically said everything happened because of aliens it already had to much poorly mismatched bullshit but the whole alien thing is basically just saying a wizard did it but the good is the creatures and the few details given of the world being taken over by these creatures it showed how society triad to deal with things at first and these parts even the brief were far far better then anything else offered but sadly to neglected to save the show

art this was a mix bag the creatures while the designs looking unique the actually animation for them just never felt right it always felt like a bit more work was needed but when it came to the scenery for those who love shots of the ruins of civilization there are good amount of shots for those people which might be the only other thing this offers the there was a bit of wasted opportunity to try and add more world building with the sensory as this could of been used to add even more details of civilization final moments before collapse but as the two studios that made this seem to not have much history they likely were already stretch thin doing the scenes that were in the show

the characters might be the worse part of the show basically all character details are dumped in one chunk and basically none of them are written well enough to be interesting they just have nothing to them and to top things off there is a good bit of hacky writing so really maybe one or two moments succeed other then that they fill space because the show need character to place in this world really the world is by far the more interesting part about this show

in the end i gave this a 4 do to the ending before it i was going to give it a five even the i felt it just barely deserved it but the ending just jammed to much hacky writing to ignore if you are one of those anime viewers who feel they gain something analyzing something that was messily made it might be worth a watch but i hesitate to recommended this for the average anime viewer there are far far better post apocalyptic anime that have a some what similar idea specially from other asian countries that truly are making a point to seriously compete with japan anime like Ling Long which do a great job in stating they can do more then be background help or rip of a popular anime they can create masterpieces

ok to be clear the reason i feel this fails is not the content as if giving time i feel it could of atleast had some people who liked it but this was put in what i feel was literally the worst time span that could of been picked a one episode thirty minute episode would of been better then this the 4 minute result in it feeling completely choppy and disjointed which prevents it from achieving a single thing it cant do anything with the characters only mild hints of story can be seen which is why i gave it a 2 because ... i atleast felt there was some potential if literally any other time scale was picked as the bits of psychological themes that miraculously made it through what i can only call the biggest hack job in anime history got me a bit interesting but sadly there just no way in hell to do it with the structure it was given as it is plainly clear the story no way could be put in 4 minute episodes this either needed to be the average 23 minutes or made like a movie were there is not breaks it is all one story sure a good number of things would of been cut but enough of what in it could be rework and it would not feel so heavily disjointed it basically failed to properly show a single thing and sadly i can only recommend this to those who love anime so much that they in all aspects of anime and want to get a deeper understanding of anime they feel they gain something from watching something that was so hacked that it destroyed any potential it could of had

my ratings for this anime is a 4 this anime seems to more target making a black jack anime fore children and it could of done this and still be good. but as being part of the black franchise i expected it to still focus on medical drama but it feels like it almost could care less about it. and was forced to have it because of the franchise this left me lose all interest in it. if this was not part of black jack this would be average and i would of enjoyed it a bit. but i wanted the medical drama ... and for most episodes the medical stuff get two maybe four minutes on average. so if this was the part you liked about the franchise this might fall painfully flat. really it is best not to watch this as something part of the black jack franchise and just a average kids show with medical things thrown in. and there are good number episodes were it is literally thrown in as black jack travels to a random place and a person gets hurt and now that person needs a doctor to save there life. on a plus if you wanted pinoko to get more time as this is trying to make something for children. she gets large chunk of more time of her having fun. the show really in general heavily focus on slice of life elements of the patient of the day and fun things and nothing relating to medical issues. because i guess they felt no child would be interested while i feel outside of making sure not to show the insides of people the structure needs little change to appeal to children. something like Black Jack: Futari no Kuroi Isha i feel is something plenty of children would find entertaining. while not showing anything inappropriate for a child while staying true to the point of black jack focusing on medical issues and drama. while this i feel like it just did not feel black jack could connect to children so basally hacked away mostly everything the franchise was about. to make a black jack they feel would appeal to children while losing far to much of the franchises essence. like i said as a kids show its fine but it just missing far to much of the focus of black jack for me not to consider it a bad black jack series.

this movie i feel is a bit over looked i watched the subbed version base on other reviews the different dubbed versions might have lower quality if comparing it to the original american frankstein this builds on its ideas in many ways

for characters the assistant has more of a character frankenstein himself is much more build up and is while not a complete villain it clearly shows him to be a very flawed person the monster also was built up more doing a very good job in showing a greater depth of him and more time focused on those aspects then the classic movie ... this also gave everything better structure by giving frankenstein a family this allows more drama and giving frankenstein relatable concerns with what he did

for the animation it was not very good i would give it a 5 it does enough to do what its meant to but no scene looked notably impressive the sound does a bit better with music help setting things up and doing a decent job of it and while the japenese voice acting was not great there are enough moments were the it does a decent job in properly giving the intended emotions the there are times it is a bit flat but older anime movies had this problem so i feel this put a little more more effort then average

over all if you seen and liked the original american frankestein this build on the themes of it while adding things to increase the depth that is why i gave this a 8 as it did many things you would want with a frankenstein movie

this anime honestly have a good bit of care put into this anime made me think of a gundam and everything but the animation is done well

the story is a bit weak lacking details but it does do a good job setting up the world and conflict the motivation is simple but the effects of war decently shown off and politics play a decent role it building up the world and conflict which i did not expect

this is the thing that really hurts the anime the animation fails to really show any emotions there motion but it does not display ... what it is meant to it is completely incapable of showing things like tears the faces often looks rough and when dark color like in night scenes things can be hard to see the animation at times it can also just be blurry and while one or two explosions look good most of them look bad the animations just fails in so so many ways with only one or two scenes actually being a bit impressive one of those scenes beings the one seen at the start of the anime

the sound gets such a high ranking as it was doing so much of the work the animation was meant to the voice acting and music are mainly the only things carrying the emotional scenes when the animation does nothing for them and without it all emotional scenes would of completely failed and really shows how much care was put into it to still manage to somewhat succeed with building up emotional scenes when the animation was working against everything

the characters are decently done they are interesting and the voice acting really gives wonderful weight to some of the drama and conflict the war more display how personally it effects people then just showing destruction it shows how people feel about conflict in how those inexperience deal with with war this more then the story is what holds things together and shows that some one did care when making it they wanted to tell something and the characters manage make the war something more then fighting

overall i cared about what was happening and actually got invested the sound and characters showed that some one was motivated and cared when making this anime and it manages to shine even when sadly the animation ends up being complete dead weight dragging everything down and if this had a studio like sunrise which could of gave it the animation it deserved it might of atleast achieve decent maybe even great success but sadly this ended up forgotten but most likely do to it animation as for a anime it is important so all the passion put behind the other parts of the anime end up unnoticed

for this season base on other reviews this seems to have nothing to do with the manga the i feel oddly this was a good direction as the first season it was straight meh harem anime which was so generic it was really only watchable but there was barely anything worth remembering which left me confused how this anime save gonzo this season shows how by deciding if it was already deviating from the source material then at the very least mix this up so it is a bit more chaotic which results it being more fun then the first season the there ... is less fighting this season focuses more on having fun with better comedy and this does have a ending that is decent

the art i will give a seven it was more energetic then the first season and it is clear there was likely more effort put in it and while the pantie shots are over done at the very least this one does show nudity so if there was going to be fanservice atleast it is less half ass

the sound was good this had sounds that were really catchy and specially the song at the start of each episode was really good and did a good job at making things more fun

it is a bit weird with this season as there are parts of the other girls personality that i don't believe were in the first seasons the with that said these changes actually added them structure to there characters so they feel there is more to them then the first season they have more detailed things about them that give them deference from each other and there is a new character that was the enjoyable tsundere the Tsukune and Moka only get mild development by the end of the season but over all even if there was things done that wasn't developed in the first season it overall was a improvement making the characters more interesting

this was a improvement over the first season were it got kind of dull but watchable the i felt it barely scraped a 5 this steps things up one level while it was still a bit to generic to deserve a higher rating at the very least it made things a bit more chaotic and fun that maybe if there was a third season it might of been able to deserve a 7 if it build things up more as atleast with this season the characters are much more enjoyable and interesting
