I so totally and absolutely agree with your review for Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. I like this manga a lot, but I keep waiting for something definite to happen between Sunako and Kyohei. The slow progress between the two is starting to annoy me... Especially since I have to wait so long for a new chapter to be out and when nothing interesting happens in that chapter it really pisses me off a liltte. ^_^

Yeah, it IS very stupid...at first. The crack lasts about 8 volumes till Mukuro and company show up and then the actual story kicks in...and it's awesome. Like seriously. It's still got bits of the crack but it's for comic relief and not as rampet. I prefer the manga to the anime cause, like most manga adaptations, I am not a fan of the simplification of the art, and after vol.11 of the manga, the art gets really stylish and nice, and it's a joy to look at. If you like the art now, you'll love it later. That and it's toned down a bit, but it will probably not kill your enjoyment. I wish more things in Jump were this much fun though (gotten kinda sick of Bleach and Naruto, and One Piece is even starting to lose me, but even then, my interest was mild).

Sad that you dropped Reborn at vol.1. Give it another go sometime, as it gets seriously good around vol.8 and gets better and stays that way. It's also one of the few good series in Jump ATM (Besides D-Gray.Man, Neuro and Hunter x Hunter)
