Synopsis

We follow the bumpy and funny romance between bubbly Tamoko and the serious Kanji. With Kanji's father running an idol agency, and Tamoko being the daughter of their top-selling idol, Shinju, things get complicated. Tamako must hide the fact she is Shinju's daughter to save public face, but at the same time, is determined to be his ideal wife (as was promised when they were little kids). It doesn't help that Tamako's pretty clumsy and poor of domestic chores, but no matter what comes down the road, she's not about to give up!

Hmm... well the art wasn't great but I did really enjoy reading the manga. The plot is actually on the original side of Shugo, not something you haven't probably seen an adaptation of before but more realistic than usual (which is saying almost nothing :P) and with an interesting group of twists. I think that it got better as the story went along. Through those last couple chapters I was so into it and loving every moment. Yeah, I recommend people read it, not if not top of the line art bothers you however though like the plot and character development it does get better ...

I have to say this was the first Manga I read. Back when I was about 12 all of my friends were strongly into Manga/Anime and I just couldn't get into. But then on a Family Vacation when I was 14 I looked at the Manga selection at a chapters. There were so many! Especially compared to the locally owned book store back in my home town. I have to say having the name pink in the title was a big factor to me because I was on a big pink shopping haul.
