Yeah totally, basically I switch back and forth between watching something from the late 90s or mid oughts and the current decade. Maybe I'm just weird but it's a lot easier for me to start watching some weird show that I never hear anyone talk about as opposed to the highest critically acclaimed show of the season. This in turn has led me to discover some of my favourite shows!

I have Cardcaptor Sakura on my hard drive ;) just a matter of when.

I'm loving LycoReco, I just watched the newest episode and It's really good! It deserves all the praise it's getting online rn. A-1 bringing out their A game.
See I'm actually glad you recommended that because Lupin is one of those things (like Fate or Raildex) where there's just soooo much of it that I'm never sure where to start haha, but I've heard so many good things about it to where I'm definitely willing to check it out. I've seen clips and Lupin always seems like such a smartass, I love that.
In return, If i may, I highly suggest checking out Last Exile (2003). I may be biased as it is my favourite anime of all time, quite possibly the best thing Gonzo ever made. Early 2000s steampunk action goodness

I'll have to give Bisque Doll another fair shake, I dropped it pretty early on bc time is limited and it didn't grab me at first. Komi in general is a blindspot for me (even though I really love Hana ni Arashi, the manga by the creator's wife lol).

Here's hoping the continuity of Teppen didn't get shattered, imo this season looks quite dry compared to Winter and Spring.

Akebi was soooo good! Like, it got overshadowed by Bisque Doll but personally I preferred it to that show. You could tell the animators were passionate about it, same with Tsubaki which is like my AOTY. I hear good things about Shadow House too. Only they can get me to remember the names of cast ensembles that large lol.

I see you were watching Teppen this season, shame about what happened to that.

yes, they did a good job, in the end, it was just a story about a guy raising a little girl, nothing more nothing less. Looking in your list, you should definitely watch the specials, they're about rin and daikichi going to the aquarium or something like that

I believe you, I read it because I thought it would continue the wholesome daikichi - rin relationship, the anime was really good
