No, I've not watched Juuni Kokuki yet, though it's in my plan to watch list! Yeah, there is nothing more annoying than an anime being cut short, especially when it's one you enjoy so much :(

You're welcome, it's nice to meet you too :)

Going by your favourite anime, I'd recommend you try Summer Wars or Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo. If you want to watch a series though, I'd say Natsume Yuujinchou. It's a brilliant little show ^_^

As for Japanese cinema, I always highly recommend Okuribito (Departures)
it's one of my top favourite films! ..And if you haven't already you should try some Korean and Chinese cinema, too!
