A short, lively and cheerful, although naive, green-haired girl. The adopted younger sister of SMS ace Ozma Lee, she attends a girl's high school at the urging of her brother while working part-time in the Chinese restaurant "Nyan-Nyan". Ranka is a huge fan of Sheryl Nome, and got tickets to her concert from her brother as a big favor. She loves singing since her childhood and dreams to become a singer. She is one-quarter Zentradi, which gives her the ability to have her hair move on its own according to her feelings, as well as having an above-average resistance to space vacuum. Ranka also suffers from dissociative amnesia following a Vajra attack on the 117th Large Scale Research Fleet that led to the loss of her family (as well as nearly 1000 other people) when she was only 4 years old, becoming one of the few survivors of that incident. One of her only memories from childhood is a song called "Aimo". Her idol, Sheryl Nome has recognized Ranka's singing talent and encourages her to pursue her dreams. Ranka becomes close friends with Alto Saotome after he saves her from a Vajra attack.
