Ah I was praising the manga there. I simply thought the anime did a better job encapsulating it.

There is some paneling that anime viewers miss. I like the gore better

Normally you get people that either do not watch anime or strongly advocate its presence in the vaster film/cinematic world. With works such as Perfect Blue, Ghost in the Shell or any Ghibli and Makoto Shinkai film for example. Most of the time though, you get people that absolutely loathe it to join the hate bandwagon. It sucks since a lot of them have a bad impression with anime considering the tropes and fanservice it has nowadays.

I'll let you know what I think of the movie once I finish it.

Yea, it just brings the manga to life. The anime encapsulates the manga better since there are moments are often handled by Frieren reminiscing as she recalls these memories from her journey with new acquaintances, using paneling, faces and body language to convey feelings. In the saddest moments of the series, Frieren’s thoughts are given diminutively, trusting the readers to know our main character well enough to empathize with her sorrow, and form their own reaction to the happenings, finding their place in Frieren’s journey. It instead dials back to the core reason for why someone might cherish it in the first place. With the bright colors and lots of green, it just feels more sentimental already. Beautiful color palettes.

I'm glad my interest stack has caught your curiosity. The goal with my interest stacks is to showcase what animanga is capable of. That it can be more than not just mere entertainment, but a work of art too. Since people who are not familiar with anime share a lot of misconceptions on it. (I hope that doesn't sound cringe)
I hope I shed light for the mature audience.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I'll think about prioritizing it now. Though I heard it's inferior compared to the prequel

Personally, the anime is better. Even though I like some of the fighting panels, the manga feels lifeless to me. But it's worth reading it ^.^

As for Rinne, the series got the same treatment as Ranma 1/2 did how both were incomplete anime adaptations... Very depressing... :(

I don't think the series won't be longer than InuYasha. Maybe around 50 volumes or less should be fine.

Well... I really don't have any particular producers in mind... But just as long is adaptive to the original source faithfully without skipping arcs & adaptive the story normal pace without rushing it then that would be fine with me :) Hmmm... i don't want to burst your bubble... But I don't think Mamoru Oshii won't be back directing Rumiko Takahashi's work after he received negative feedback from the creator herself how she didn't like how the second movie of Urusei Yatsura Beautiful Dreamer turned out. Second to that I also heard some articles before how those two don't get along each other neither. That's how Mamoru Oshii left the project (Urusei Yatsura TV series) and let someone else to take over his place which it's Kazuo Yamazaki. Wow having Kaoru Wada composing for Mao would be awesome since I do enjoy hearing the soundtrack for InuYasha but a collab with Kenji Kawai would not be a bad choose though ^__^

I like them as well ^-^ That's one of thing I also like about Rumiko Takahashi's work how she makes her character's very likable ^_^I just hope we get an anime adaptation announcement very soon around this year or the next :)

I never paid attention to how many members something has, usually after I find an author or director I like I go to his page and go checking his other stuff or other entries/related entries to series I liked... like, right now I just finish reading an Appleseed manga (not written by Shirow) and honestly was my favorite entry of the whole franchise, only 633 members...
I also get a lot of stuff by checking what friends had added to their list.
