Contrary to the summary, the overall plot has very little to do with the relationship between the girl and the prince, it more focuses on the politics of a faltering monarchy. Even the end doesn't really tell much about their feelings, and when your done, it leaves you with a feeling of dissatisfaction. I would recommend looking for a different manga if you want a good romance.

Basically, this is your average boy meets girl manga, except the girl is as tall as a skyscraper! Tobita is comparable to all others characters in this genre (a down-on-his luck guy with no girlfriend), while Mana is pretty unique. Mana is tasked with destroying aliens threatening mankind. The two meet during such a fight, where Mana gets hurt, and Tobita's promise to protect her (due to hi respect of woman). Mana becomes infatuated with him, although he doesn't feel quite the same way, and the story goes on from there showing how their relationship grows, even through the differences that would otherwise drive them read more

this manga is a love story stretching across time.
although the concept seems good at first, the ending causes the story to fall apart and make it seem like it was a waste of time to hav read

Ok, why you should watch this show:
1. Good plot (fireworks maker....very original!) 2. Nice Soundtrack (in my case 2 of 3 songs were MP3 worthy) 3. Dynamic characters that are believable(but at the same time funny) 4. Quite romantic (if your into that type of thing) This show is also quite alot like Eureka 7....but i wont say anymore about that:p

This is a bit of an interesting situation. Think of it as Paranoia Agent meeting the Animatrix. Its one of those shows dealing with the rapid advancement of worldwide communications and information. This purely illustrates how our society is becoming less and less "real", and more "Wired". The visuals are not the best, something similar to 90's anime. The sound effects and voices work wonderfully together to synthesize a world of digital sounds. The intricately woven characters work on both a regular everyday level, and one deeper. As you see this show, you too will wonder what exactly defines "real" in today's world.

Remember those B-grade horror films they air on sci-fi quite often? This is pretty much the same thing. If you've ever seen Snakehead Terror, its quite similar to that. I wouldn't recommend reading this after you've eaten, as some of the images are gruesome enough to make your stomach do loop-de-loops in your chest. The story however is very creative, and has many twists and turns you don't see coming, so if you have some down time, drop by onemanga or buy the manga if you have some extra cash, plop yourself down, and you'll never want to eat Sushi again.

The main story of Double Arts starts off as somewhat interesting, and quite funny, and continues along this way for quite a while. I was so enthralled by it, i waited for each new chapter. Overall very good, but what brings me down is how the series ends pretty much halfway through the series, so you never really see how it ends, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of even writing it. In short, good story, funny at times, ending ruins it all.

Contrary to many opinions, this movie is quite bad. Firstly, the whole background story about Akira itself is never explained, which causes alot of confusion during the movie. Then there is the static characters which just drag down the plot line, because you have no idea why or how they are connected to it. The movie itself contains very little action until towards the end, but even then it gives little satisfaction. In many ways this is like dragon ball but on a much lower scale then even that. So, if you are looking for a good movie with psychological stuff in it, seek elsewhere, read more

This is just another of those mangas that you either love or hate, as for me, im still on the fence. The story resolves around a girl named Fran, who is something of a reanimated corpse that lives in a mansion with a doctor(that is never seen) and performs bizzare surgeries and experiments on other people. Often she does this against that person's will. Most stories end badly for those who came to her seeking help. The artwork is alright, but nothin special. The story changes pretty much from chapter to chapter, and is often extremely gory and horrid, so if u hav a weak read more

The story starts out like most other fantasy animes, in something reminiscent of Eureka 7, but as the story progresses, see how the characters affect each other on such a deep emotional level, you'll see that this is not much of a sci-fi, mecha, kind of thing, but a romance and love anime that blows away all others....the ending was so very touching....i caught myself crying, which happens very little for me when watching anime, in fact, i think this is the first time i hav ever cried watching an anime....
