Aku no Hana (Manga) add
Preliminary (33/58 chp)
What can be said about this manga that others haven't? I am not sure, so I will say it anyway.
It is basically what happens when a boy becomes so obsessed with a girl his life spirals out of control and he throws away everything he believes in or has worked for just to try and make her happy. The girl, is a sociopath who shows no emotion except joy when others are in emotional pain and has no qualms about leading the boy down a path of self-destruction because she simply doesn't care about the world or anyone (herself included) in it.

Some might say ...

This is an interesting manga to say the least. When you have a zombie story, rarely does it take place in the middle of the ocean on the boat. Take with that the fact that it is on an upside down ship. Very original overall. The characters have very deep personalities that only adds to the mystery and goodness of the story.

The one thing i did notice however, was that the manga is bases alot off of the movie "Poseidon". At several times the manga matches the movie scene for scene, like when they are crossing an elevator shaft.

So to summarize, its "Poseidon" meets ...

Outlanders (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Though the manga was very well written and illustrated, this adaptation was very insulting to it. The story was rushed and contained very few connections to the manga. Many of the important characters did not even appear in the anime. Many of the important story points were also absent. Earth barely had a cameo even though it was where half of the story took place. The ending, though less sad, is still far from the manga. Overall, if you have read the manga and loved it, stay away from this OVA.

Blood Lunch (Manga) add
This is a very weak manga, the best way to describe it is a never ending sex orgy, often with occurrences of incest. There is no story, and if you're not obsessed with absolute hentai, it is a waste of your time. The only positive part of the manga is the detailed art, and i only give it 9 because of the detail. If you aren't prepared for in-depth images of the human body, stay away!!!

Emerging (Manga) add
Preliminary (7/22 chp)
Ok, basically you have a virus that no one has ever seen before, and drop it right in the center of one of the worlds most crowded cities....sounds like a lot of sci-fi books right? well, it is, but its pretty unique in manga. few mangas address the very real possibility of a viral infection appearing, spreading quickly, and being unable to stop it
while the story is very original, the art is nothing special, and as far as characters go, the ones in this series are pretty flat. what rlly brings about the believability of the story and the detail that the author goes into ...

Mixed Feelings
Contrary to the summary, the overall plot has very little to do with the relationship between the girl and the prince, it more focuses on the politics of a faltering monarchy. Even the end doesn't really tell much about their feelings, and when your done, it leaves you with a feeling of dissatisfaction. I would recommend looking for a different manga if you want a good romance.

(Manga) add
Basically, this is your average boy meets girl manga, except the girl is as tall as a skyscraper! Tobita is comparable to all others characters in this genre (a down-on-his luck guy with no girlfriend), while Mana is pretty unique. Mana is tasked with destroying aliens threatening mankind. The two meet during such a fight, where Mana gets hurt, and Tobita's promise to protect her (due to hi respect of woman). Mana becomes infatuated with him, although he doesn't feel quite the same way, and the story goes on from there showing how their relationship grows, even through the differences that would otherwise drive them ...

Preliminary (1/13 eps)
This is a bit of an interesting situation. Think of it as Paranoia Agent meeting the Animatrix. Its one of those shows dealing with the rapid advancement of worldwide communications and information. This purely illustrates how our society is becoming less and less "real", and more "Wired". The visuals are not the best, something similar to 90's anime. The sound effects and voices work wonderfully together to synthesize a world of digital sounds. The intricately woven characters work on both a regular everyday level, and one deeper. As you see this show, you too will wonder what exactly defines "real" in today's world.

Remember those B-grade horror films they air on sci-fi quite often? This is pretty much the same thing. If you've ever seen Snakehead Terror, its quite similar to that. I wouldn't recommend reading this after you've eaten, as some of the images are gruesome enough to make your stomach do loop-de-loops in your chest. The story however is very creative, and has many twists and turns you don't see coming, so if you have some down time, drop by onemanga or buy the manga if you have some extra cash, plop yourself down, and you'll never want to eat Sushi again.

Double Arts (Manga) add
The main story of Double Arts starts off as somewhat interesting, and quite funny, and continues along this way for quite a while. I was so enthralled by it, i waited for each new chapter. Overall very good, but what brings me down is how the series ends pretty much halfway through the series, so you never really see how it ends, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of even writing it. In short, good story, funny at times, ending ruins it all.
