I absolutely loved this movie. There was so much fanservice for fans of the original series. The island's inhabitants were well-developed, and for once, the child characters didn't drive me up the wall! The Origin-style animation looked great too. While CGI Mobile Suits aren't everyone's cup of tea, the ones in this film are one of the better CGI integrations I've seen in anime. Just goes to show how talented Sunrise's artists are!
This is not a necessary watch, but if you're a fan of 0079 and don't mind the slower pacing, you will enjoy this! The development of the characters pays off so well ...

This manga requires you to do a little "homework" to get all the jokes if you don't know much about the production, history, and important faces of manga. But if you know those things, it's such a fun little treat!

The art is great, just like the rest of Toyama's works, and I found the whole thing to be really funny and sweet. It didn't have much of a story, but what it did have didn't feel forced. The characters were not the most unique or interesting, but that's a given for comedy manga.

It is by no means a masterpiece but I still really enjoyed it ...

This film was very interesting. But I have a couple gripes.

I wish that the topic of Frol's gender was handled better. Yes, this is an old movie based on an older story, and it was treated better than some modern series... But WHY did Frol suddenly decide that they in fact DID want to be a woman at the end of the movie? Was this decision discussed in more depth in the manga? Because, if so, that means the adaptation left out some pretty important development about one of its most important characters. They reveal this in one of the last lines of the film ...

Despite the 100 very short episodes, the Aggretsuko shorts were able to keep things fresh and fun for longer than the TV series. Maybe it's because of the shorter runtime, but every different short felt unique and they were all super funny! They did everything they set out to do perfectly.

The voice acting, BGM, and animation aren't the best, but considering the type of series this is, it's not a big deal. The full-length Aggretsuko series improves on those fronts.

Overall, I'd recommend this series to anyone, especially fans of the Aggretsuko series. The shorts are only a minute long so anyone can fit ...

Mamotte/Save Me! Lollipop is the kind of show that’s so bad it’s good.
The story is absolutely ridiculous and full of plot holes. The entire PREMISE of the show makes no sense (can’t she just digest the Crystal Pearl and get rid of it that way?) and it gets even wilder from there. The animation is shitty even for a mid-2000s kids anime, and the characters too. We’ve got the immature middle school girl protagonist, the two boy best friends (the ‘edgy’ one with anime boy hair and a rude personality, and the calmer one with a dark backstory + earring), and a slew of ...
