Both give the similar "dark vibe", if you know what I mean. Dark, psychological stories that really make you think about life.

Both MCs are really sweet girls who are interested in medicine. Both animes also take place in a royal setting, with Maomao in the forbidden city and Shirayuki in the palace. Snow white with red hair is a bit more focused on romance though. Very lighthearted, cute stories.

Both main characters are really playful and cute in nature. :) There is also a lot of devil/monster hunting in both.

These two mangas are really similar because both are about a missing girl living with the one she "loves". The mangas are about finding their own happiness. Very dark stories.

Both are deeply psychological animes that take place in a school setting. Both main characters are "loner" boys that have extreme levels of intelligence. They also have several girls who like them. The difference between oregairu and COTE is that COTE is more about "climbing the ranks" while oregairu is focused more on relationships with others. However, I got the same type of "vibe" when watching both of them.

Similarities: - Both MCs are high school girls and are shy. - Both take place in a high school and are SOL Differences: - You'll get lots of fanservice in Hitomi-chan but not really any on Bocchi. - There is a lot of romance in Hitomi-chan while Bocchi the rock is mostly a friend group setting.

This is similar to Yubisaki to Renren because both of the female MCs have trouble communicating with others verbally. YtR MC is completely deaf, while Komi has extreme social anxiety. Because of their inability to speak, they use other means to communicate with others, such as hand writing, writing, texting, etc. YtR has more romance than Komi though.
