This anime is very entertaining and has plenty of good comedy and cute romance moments so I feel like it has a broad appeal.

The characters might seem average or not too developed (especially Jun), and some character archs aren't that original. However I feel like the writers found a way to make these characters and their stories shine by the way things aren't explicitly said. Some of what goes into a character's mind is left for interpretation, especially for Carol and Misuzu. It's really interesting to see their dynamic and how they understand each other without saying anything and without having to explain it to ...

Megalo Box (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
This is more like my overall opinion and reasons why I disliked the show than an actual in dept review. There are minor spoilers and could have mistakes here and there, as English isn't my first language.

Megalo Box wasn't that good. It was just ok. The main enjoyment I got from the show were the animation and the music. Other than that, it's pretty boring.

I don't even care that the ending was predictable. What bothers me is that the story felt rushed as hell. This should have been a 24 episodes anime. There's a reason why most sports anime have at least 24 episodes: ...

Fist of all, I wanted to mention a that I have not read the manga, so I will not try to compare the two. This might explain my rating that is higher than the majority of the other reviews out there.

So, as an anime only watcher ot Tokyo Ghou, what did I think of it? I tought it was intriguing, creative, full of emotions but also sometimes confusiong. Here are some more details.

Story 5/10:
Root A picks up from where the first season started, but I think it's important to mention that this new season is not an adaptation of the manga, but more like ...

Koi ni Nare! (Manga) add
Note: I'm rewriting this review after having re-read the manga. My opinions changed a bit since I found some flaws I didn't see the first time. It's a great read none the less.

Let's Go Love! is a story about first love for one of the characters, while having to deal with homosexuality and its problems. It was told in a very sweet and somewhat realistic way and that is why I enjoyed it so much.

Story 8/10:
Plot: The is about a student who just discovered he is gay and wonders how to deal with these new feelings. When his roomate learns about his sexual orientation, he ...

Sorry for any English mistakes, I am still learning the language!

One week friends is the kind of anime that makes you feel relaxed by it's slow paced story, the sweet music and voice acting and the pastel colours. The storyline and characters are nice too, which made this anime one of my favourites from this year so far.

Story: 8
The story is about Kaori Fujimiya who has a rare disease which makes her forget all her memorie of her friends each week. Yuuki Hase decided to be his friend even with that problem. We follow them in their everyday lives as Hase tries to help Fujimiya ...

Please excuse any mistakes, I am still learning English!
This anime is in my personal top 3 summer 2014 anime, it shows how good it is. It has a lot more to offer than what the synopsis may lead you to think.

Story (8):
It is a slice of life anime, so there is not really a main story, but it basically follows the daily life of Usa as he tries to get closer to Kawai. Their relationship is pretty slow paced but not in a boring way. It feels pretty realistic even if some events are kind of over the top (but for comedic purposes).

Art (10):
The art ...

This is one of the best shoujos I've watched so far. It stands out with it's unusual setting, great and not cliché at all characters and the great music.

Story:
It was pretty original. I like the world the author created, although I couldn't understand everything about it. The story was a bit too fast paced for my taste in the first half, but it got more well balanced towards the end. It felt a bit over dramatic to me at some parts, maybe because twelve episodes are not enough to really get into the story and feel moved by the drama. I did feeled pretty moved ...

Junketsu Drop (Manga) add
I've read a lot of yaoi mangas, so it became harder to come across something that I will find really cute or really hot. This manga had these two aspects.

Story:
This is the dejà vu ''ennemies fall in love'' type of story. I have to admit the way they start ''going out'' (if you can call it that) is pretty unrealistic and had probably been done before, but they way they discover each other's feelings was really well paced, realistic and cute.

Art:
The art is beautiful. It makes you smile at how cute it is and, gotta admit it, the smexy scenes are really hot while not ...

Deep Flower (Manga) add
So I picked up this manga because I feel like I always read really light love stories and wanted to try something a bit more dark. The story is a bit dark, about a really possessive yandere kind of man, but it is not super intense with blood or really graphic rape scenes, which is good if you ask me.

*THIS PAR CONTAINS LIGHT SPOILERS*
Story (7/10)
The story was pretty nice. I liked the fact that the main character who was being harassed and toyed with by the other decided to break it off instead of just easily giving in like we often see in other ...

This manga was really cute and the art was so beautiful! The story was kind of cliché with your typical (but not too typical) characters, but it sure was enjoyable. I giggled a few times of how cute some parts were! Overall, it's a nice and short read. If you are looking for some deep and original story, skip that. But if you want something really cute with beautiful artwork, this manga is for you!
