- I see a comparison between the Somas and the Hashiras. The Somas all have a dark past they're trying to escape because of the curse, while the Hashiras have a dark past or reason to fight because of the Demons destroying their lives / families. - Tohru and Tanjiro are both kind souls full of sympathy, acceptance of others and willingness to help people.

Ok here me out: - both have this kind of situation based humour where the stakes seem really high but in reality they're not cause it's a comedy and the situation they're on could never exist irl - for both shows, I started for the comedy but stayed for the plot and the characters

- Basically, both shows are about a group of friends that hang out together while practicing their passions. Beck is more about as serious passion for music, while Genshiken is more casual. - Similar artstyle - Two of the main characters are similar at first - These two shows kind of give the same vibe or atmosphere at some points, though Beck gets more serious and intense after a while - Both animes have characters that feel realistic and not cliché

- They both have to deal with the porn industry - In both mangas one charatcer is introduced to the industry by meeting someome who works in there. - In Shinjulu Lucky Hole, the AV industry is kind of the main theme that the story is centered around, while in Castle Mango the theme is more about love hotels and first love. - If you liked one, you might like the other. Keep in mind that while Castle Mango is pretty tame and more like a Shounen-Ai, Shinjuku Lucky Hole is more violent and with more sex scenes

- Both stories revolve around a male main character surrounded by female friends. We get to learn about the girls by the connection the boy has with them. - Both stories start off with a slower and lighter pace and feel to end up with well handled drama - Both animes are in a highschool setting - Some characters are similar by the way they act or their past stories
