yeah thats really true x_X its not rare having anime/mangas with an average art or worse and a good story, but still its annoying - even so Im not like those (or at least it depends if I've heard about the manga/anime from friends) who say that they wont watch this or that because of the story or art >.<
If I wouldnt have watched Beck I would regret it. compared to LoveCom, PoT and Reborn the art isnt good, but still its a fav xD
Im always trying mangas, even when the art isnt that good - Im not that nice with animes though - especially because the most have at least 24 eps and thats way too much for an average art x_X

halloween was fun :D but honestly it's just a party. and im pretty sure i flushed out most of the party bug out of me my fresh year in college. after awhile you start to realize there's got to be more to this than drunken make outs and people slurring your name lol. but as far as parties go, my halloween was pretty fun.

i hear Trick or Treat is a gooooooood movie. was it good? i actually liked Drag me to Hell. i loved the ending. HILARIOUS XDD. the stain that wont DIE! OH NOES!! maybe you should try throwing holy water on it haha.

thanksgiving is huge here!! but of course you know that haha. my roomie is from france and she was telling me the other day about how excited she was to be celebrating REAL THANKSGIVING. lol. it made me laugh for a bit since thanksgiving is something that's sort of lost its original meaning haha. but i'm just glad that i get to go home for break :)

i actually really dislike white chocolate! especially in cookies ughnes. but i like white chocolate mocha. so maybe i will like white chocolate :D

naruto yaoi djs lol. you know i wouldnt be too surprised if there was. i mean with all the crazy people in the world..im SURE theres one. people are always telling me to try One Piece and i STILL havent gotten around to it. i mean i WANT to start on it...but it feels almost like a task :/ i actually like naruto. i gave up a long time ago on the manga, but the new season shippuuden is AH-MAZING. i love it. haha.

Gosh, I'm so sorry D: I've been out of it lately. I've been on and off feverish for a month or so, so that got me totally drained. I haven't replied to almost no one, no matter which site has been in question. I've been in contact with a person or two, only. I hope I'm not becoming a hikikomori xD
Well, the wallpaper is still in use - I just can't get my eyes off it! I guess getting caught is a part of being in kinky bsns. Hasn't happened so far, but I like taking risks every so often - I spent the summer immersing myself into the darker side of the Internet (read: mangafox yaoi section), right beside my not-so-gay-friendly mother. I know, that sounds just like what would every teenage rebel without a cause do - but I'm that type of girl. I don't like to hide my interests from anyone, as I believe that I am able to come to some sort of understanding with others (though, being stigmatized as a freak is always an option, too. Sadly, it takes some getting used to).
I always hope that someone will translate more Suzuki Tsuta's manga (DP usually does it), as she has a cute blend of humour, romance and smut. She even gives us bits of 'slice of life' every now and then. I find her style rather unique and somehow... tasteful, especially after noticing what many mangaka in the genre do. I am fully aware that yaoi would be nothing but BL/shounen-ai without smut, but it's often the smut that gets on my nerves. Reading shounen-ai is most of the time the same as reading bad shoujo with two guys as the main characters, while yaoi uses the same outlines repeatedly (and it's, like... 'oh, you used to be my best friend/I used to stalk you/you were my senpai and I haven't seen you in a while. btw, I love you' - a) 'oh, okay. same here' *they get naked instantly and have wild sex, often without prep/lube*OR b) '...and I'll prove you that I love you by forcefully having sex with you. It doesn't count as rape because I love you.' 'WHAT?' *guy A strips guy B, gives him a blowjob and they have lots of wild sex blahblah*). I can't stop trying to find something as enjoyable.
Miyamoto Kano? I've read Rules (something else, too - maybe... but I'm bad with names). The 'slice of life' feel her stories give off is amazing. It's nice to see manga characters portrayed as real people. Not bipolar, not black and white only - but in all shades that come with all the emotions possible~ Cheese no Yume wo Miru is definitely something special - and I've noticed that there is a big number of yaoi readers who like the manga because it's just different. It's true that it's actually pretty fantastic, but the art has been putting me off. I guess it just takes some time. I even got used to it at some point, but I'm almost scared of completing the sequel (I think I'm between ch.2 and ch.3) because it's possible that I won't enjoy the story as much as I did, as I started avoiding sloppy artwork whenever possible and her art could turn me off at the moment D: Should I give it a go, anyway?
Well, it's not THAT extreme. Though, I think that fujoshi mode is ever present - somewhere in the back of my mind. Buzzing underneath the 'normal' brain processes. I'm still able to ignore the buzzing sound~ I agree,both HP and LotR slash seem quite a bit unnatural. It just doesn't cut it. The only HP fics I've read are the ones posted at weepingcock on LJ. Bad slash is worth nothing but making fun of.
IchiIshi? Don't make me cringe D: Ishida and Chad are probably the most asexual characters of Bleach. Maybe it's just me - I'm used to perceiving things in a strange manner. I tend to avoid Bleach djs because I got burned too many times. Painfully badly drawn, with storyline worse than an average fic. It maybe isn't your cup of tea, but it's possible to find amazing fics out there :) Don't let the The Pit (fanfiction.net) make you lose your hope. In fact, Bleach fics and fanarts got me hooked on yaoi, in the first place. There are some pairings with very obvious hints (RenIchi, RenBya/ByaRen - or even ShunUki, for example). Be brave, in the name of science!
