Here’s a quick summary of part 2 of my Expo adventures: (Friday 6/29, Day 1)

Anyways, here's Part 1 of my Expo adventures:

So on day 0 (Thursday) of the Anime Expo, I slept barely 2 hours since I was wasting a lot of time chit-chatting with random people online and trying to quickly pack my stuff. I was planning to put together some simple schedule during this time, but I never did it. So I ended up “piggy-backing” off a few other people who actually put together schedules of their own.

I ended up going to work for a half-day. When I was done with work, I quickly ate a simple lunch while I was still there. Right around this time, I was expecting the taxi to have basically arrived already, but it was late by over an hour. When he arrived, he told me in a rather pissed tone to get in. I hadn’t even said anything after getting in when he decided to be a complete ass. I ended up spending over 1.5 hours in the taxi with him giving me a hard time non-stop. When he finally took me to the hotel I was staying at, I didn’t bother tipping him due to his attitude, and his response was like “Learn to fucking tip next time young man….ya hear me….you fucking pathetic faggot…” Like seriously??? How much more of an ass could he be than that?

With the room situation itself, I roomed with 3 strangers with 2 of them being American and the 3rd one being Norwegian. The 2 Americans were from Minnesota and North Carolina respectively. The Minnesota guy was friends with the Norwegian, so they shared a bed, and I shared the 2nd bed with the other guy. All 3 of them were normal, and there were no signs that they tried to go through my bag. I already felt it was a gamble rooming with complete strangers, but I figured for a con, they were more than likely going to be normal and polite, which thankfully they all were.
So ironically, I arrived at the hotel around the same time as those first 2 guys, because the Norwegian guy was delayed at the airport going through customs.

I sat in the room for close to 2 hours after I texted this girl who came from New Zealand for this con. I was surprised she actually walked the 1 mile between our 2 hotels. So I met up with her after resting for a while, and we loitered around the hotel I was staying at.
As the early evening was starting, I texted another person who I had been in contact with prior to the con about how long the line was to get our con badges. She told me that she literally waited 15 minutes to get hers whereas other people she knew waited well over 2 hours in the afternoon to get theirs.
So me and the NZ girl decided to get on a shuttle to quickly go get our badges, and good thing that other girl wasn’t bs-ing me. So after that, we took the shuttle back to the hotel and we had a little time to burn before we both were going to this one 21+ “meet and greet” thing.

So the 2 of us met up with a couple other people in the same hotel before we headed out to a local restaurant-bar that was barely 1 block away. When she was about to order her drink, she found out she left her passport in some bag that I kept in my room. So we had to quickly make the trip back to retrieve that.
When we returned to the place, everyone else had settled down on a long table. I think there were at least 15 of us total who went. I sat by 3 guys who seemed really buzzed, and they admitted that they had pre-buzzed it hardcore before coming to this meet up. At one point, one of them fell out of his stool and nearly knocked me out off mine.

All in all, the only “dinner” I had on this day was eating some small bites that 1 of the guys offered to go along with a mini appetizer that I shared with her.
At the end, I found I spent $70 USD at this place. I paid for the shared appetizer and I also spotted a drink for her. I personally ordered at least 4 different drinks for myself.

After we finished there, we all quickly decided what we wanted to do next. Some people decided to head home, but the rest of us decided we wanted to go clubbing. We ended up at some mini lounge initially, but it ended up being so boring that we quickly headed to another one. The second lounge was much better than the first. They actually played some decent music which got me in the zone to do my thing. It was a nice bonus that both places didn’t charge cover prices, because it was already bad enough that I threw away a lot of money at the bar.

After we were done, me and another guy volunteered to get the NZ girl back to her hotel. We initially thought we could rely on my phone to get us the walking directions back, but since we were all buzzed and tired, and got a taxi to take us there and then back to our own hotel. We ended up loitering outside on the hotel plaza with a few people after we got back.
When I finally crashed, it was around 04:00. I woke up barely 4 hours later, but then I got bored and went back to sleep. About another hour passed when I did this. So that’s basically how my day 1 (Friday) of the Anime Expo began.

So what would be the best way(s) to describe my day 0 of this convention?

Code Geass is 1 of the anime that I would rewatch if I had the extra time.
My manga activity has been non-existent now for quite some time.

So did you end up going to the Anime Expo?

League of Legends...I played that a ton for the last year and a half. I quit cause I couldn't stand the game anymore. Too much ridiculousness for me, and has an awful community. Though, I had a lot of fun times with my mains Singed and Malzahar ^^ Those two were monsters. Singed with Fling, and Mal with his killer ult.

Hmm..like I finished Katanagatari 2 days ago. Put it off for the longest time, turns into one of the most entertaining shows I've watched. Go figure. Other stuff like my weekly anime, gaming, and reading light novels on Baka Tsuki.

I see...Naruto is quite nice but I did not continue the to watch it second season.I just watch a bit of it second season. 1/2 prince...how is it?
