i guess it won't be translated, or well i don't know. I played some without translation, but after i know there's a software to translate (even if it's messed up) visual novel to google translate, i'm using that. Try searching ITH or Interactive Text Hooker.

it's far better than the anime, i can't stop crying on some route (Mifuyu especially)

i want to recommend you Koichoco (Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate) but it isn't translated yet, but try the anime if you haven't watch it yet.

if you want translated and romance, try Yume Miru Kusuri, Sharin no Kuni, and Hoshizora no Memoria.

umm, any preferred genre ? try G-Senjou no Maou and Ever17, they might be old but both are a masterpiece.

agreed, Yuuji is hilarious (and cool ofc). I assume you're on her route now ? Amane's like between 2nd or 3rd with Michiru. Yep my number one is Yumiko. Amane's past is really really long and it takes courage (seriously) to continue.
I played a lot of untranslated ones, if you're okay with that i can recommend you some, but if you want translated ones only, it's okay.

Oh yeah, I really want to watch those 3 some time - I just know I'll like them. There are basically 3 kinds of anime that can make me give 10/10 - an epic action series (e.g. FMA, Code Geass, Guilty Crown); an emotional drama the pulls at my heartstrings (e.g. Angel Beats!, AnoHana, Kokoro Connect, Sakurasou) or series with both these traits (e.g. Mirai Nikki); and a series that is unique and does something very different with its genre (e.g. Madoka Magica, Penguindrum).

To answer your question: possibly? I mean, I like dark haired girls too (probably have a preference for long hair though), as well as light hair, but I definitely am drawn to the yandere, maybe emotionless kind of characters. I also think they are both lonely in a way, that makes you want to befriend them: Kanade because

From what I've found, they certainly have the material (more light novels) to adapt into animated form, and I think there was an interview with the Sakurasou staff where one of them said that a 2nd season is a possibility if enough fans want it.

Well I'm always open to recommendations :) (even if my plan to watch list is already huge...)

Whoops! I forgot to hit reply about an hour ago so I actually have watched those 2 eps now. Overall, I'm not gonna lie - it was the BEST ANIME EVER!! Well, it's really close between Sakurasou and my previous all-time favourite: Angel Beats!, but Sakurasou was longer (24 eps vs 13) and had more time to flesh out the characters and story, as well as having more consistent quality throughout. Both made me cry at times, both had great music and attractive character designs, and both of them I will always remember.
I so want them to make another season! Or at least some OVAs...
