Now that is ONE HELL of an annoying manga.
What's annoying about it is that I can't manage to decide whether it's great or terrible.
Having read hundreds of mangas, I can usually tell within the first 10 pages when one is utter garbage. There are glaring signs that you can't NOT see when you know them.
Dumb characters, lack of character development, lack of context/explanation, needlessly fast pace, cheap and clumsy fanservice, confusing situations and dialogs, vague and half-assed world-building, and even actual inconsistencies.
And this manga is riddled with those. And yet it's interesting, and I can't help but want to read more.

First things first : It's important to make the distinction between RESPECTING/VALUING something and LIKING/ENJOYING it.
In my opinion, the MANGA "Implicity" is a GOOD manga, I RESPECT and VALUE it. I do NOT LIKE/ENJOY it. And that's its whole point. I can think of a few other similar mangas (most notably the "Hime Kankan" series by Tsukusun). The GOAL of this sort of mangas is to make you feel SICK. They are depicting horrifying things with the intent to make the reader feel horrified from them, not entertained, let alone aroused. So if you hate reading them, it means they're probably doing their job well. => The anime adaptation ...

Basically :
*If you enjoy shows such as "Gintama" or "Danshi Kokousei no Nichijou", then chances are you're gonna like this one as well. Same sort of humor : Subversion of anime tropes, overreacting and way too energetic characters, escalation of absurdity... those sort of things. (just watch the first half of episode 1, you'll get what I mean). Personnally I found it hilarious. *In theory, it's an anime about diving. However, there is very little actual diving.
