Did you know that the plural of Anime is Anime itself and not Animes? ^^
Greetings, welcome to my profile. I finally thought of filling it up *yay*
Starting off, I'm just an Anime fan like you ^__^. I had started watching Anime around the age of 7-8 but only a few years back did I realize what I watched was called "Anime" xD I guess it started with airing of an Anime channel at my place called "Animax" where I spent wonderful times watching Anime :)
What Anime means to me is more than just a source of entertainment. Some of them are very close to my heart. ^^ Apart from that Anime have always been fun to watch, and at times it can be very touchy as well. I guess I like the simplicity of it overall. The characters and story-line's are something that you wouldn't generally see anywhere else. Also the vastness in terms of Genre is another great aspect of Anime. You can switch from watching a action based Anime to a completely Romantic one, depending on what you want to watch right now. I could go on and on but I'll just keep it as this. ^^
I joined up MAL recently and I feel its a really good site. I've visited different forums/social networking sites before but they never seemed to contain so many features. I've also met up with some nice people here and overall its been fun so far =)

Hey! Have you watched any good new anime of late? I have been watching Kanon, Clannad, FMA Brotherhood, Angel Beats and Clannad AS in the past few days. =) Out of them, I really liked Angel Beats.
