Since I didn't get the chance to reply on your well written post, I want to answer you here.

While I personally prefer a less hateful approach, I certainly can relate to your feelings. I myself didn't start watching anime as a form of protest as it seems you have, but nontheless tip my hat as I agree with most of your points. I respectfully disagree with the so-called normies, who try to change anime into a narrow-minded medium which finds social acceptance. I don't want nor need to be accepted by anyone. I love myself some more petite girls, and while I personally dislike udder-girls, I know lots of our brethren love those, so I tolerate and embrace it instead of hating on their choices. Lots of those 'new fans' clearly don't understand such a behaviour and instead condemn everything they don't like. I don't think we need that kind of fan in this community.
