About SMcCall64
Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped turned upside down.
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there, I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air.

In West Philadelphia born and raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days.
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school, when a couple of guys who were up to no good started makin' trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said "you're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air!"

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the license plate said "Fresh", and had dice in the mirror.
If anything I could say that this cab was rare, but I thought "Nah forget it, yo home to Bel-Air!"

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo Holmes, smell ya later!"
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel-Air.

I would also like to add that I'm cool with random friend requests for the most part as long as the people sending them aren't creepy or anything.

That's precisely what he is. He can best be described as a cardboard cut-out in the guise of a character. A stepping stone for Simon. But it's understandable why people like him - For the short period of time he was around, he was funny and pretty GAR. Overall, yeah, completely overrated, but not unlikeable in the least.

How was TTGL for you?

By the way, I notice that you're about to pick up Cowboy Bebop. Good choice IMO - I'd also recommend Samurai Champloo in a heartbeat.

Umm, hi and stuff.

Nope, not me.

Hey great going with the exams, and I hope you find a nice job. That will be really cool.

I only watch dubbed animes. I made an exception for Darker Than Black, but no more. Dubs, dubs, and only dubs.

I'm still having trouble getting into Code Geass. I can see why so many people love it - I really can. I find it hard to believe I don't care for it all that much. I am going to finish it, though, since I've gone so far.

Saiyuki is an action packed anime about a priest and 3 warrior friends who are on a journey to kill a demon lord. They fight a lot of demons on the way. Their fighting is so cool, that I forgive the lack of eye candy. The characters grow on you really fast. Like so many animes, you even end up feeling for the bad guys, too. I've still only watched the first 5 episodes, though. I don't have time to watch a lot of anime at once. Tonight I watched ep 24 of Kenshin.

Hope to hear from you soon. God bless! :)

How ya been? Haven't heard from you in a while.

I started watching Code Geass, and I'm afraid it's only gotten a 7 from me so far. Reminds me of Death Note, only with gobs more action.

Started Saiyuki a few days ago, and just watched episode 4 today. It's so good, I can't believe how much I actually like it - especially with the surprising lack of eye candy. I recommend it - well, there is a lot of cussing in it.

What does "fanservice" mean?

SpiralEyes | 04-30-09, 3:59 PM
Ah ... I see. FF7 AV was the first I saw of FF. I never played the game. So, I can see where your disappointment comes from. Personally, the "one big action scene" is what I really love about the movie.

Code Geass is something I just really have to be in the mood to watch. Someone told me if I hadn't started Death Note first, that I'd really like Code Geass. Suzaku is annoyingly goody-two-shoes, and Lelouch looks silly as Zero. And to top it all off - I can't stand that girl, um I forget her name, that gave Zero his power. Oh yeah, and the one that is a boring student during the week, and a mighty fighter during battles - she's cool while she's fighting, but when she's just a student she's boring. Man, could I complain any more? lol :)

I don't know how I missed your last comment, but I guess I did; sorry. Code Geass is pretty good. It reminds me of Death Note in a way. Genius kid gets fantastic secret power and attempts to better the world with it, but is a murderer. There's a lot more action than Death Note, though. What do you think of it? I see you rated it a 9.

I just noticed something really odd about you. You only gave FFVII: Advent Children a 5! It has a high 10 from me. What didn't you like about it?

I wish they'd make Chaos Legion into an anime. Is that even a Japanese game? I've only seen parts of it. Looks great, but I don't really play games.

Hi there. Just go to Netflix.com. Most of the movies are DVD rentals. But, some can be veiwed online or streamed to your t.v. if you have the right equipment. My boys just watched Tom & Jerry Shiver Me Whiskers. They seemed to really like it. My husband watched most of Dukes of Hazzard: Beginnings tonight. The boys were kind of watching it with him, so he decided to quit cuz there's kind of nudy stuff in it. I've got the second Black Cat DVD to watch tonight. I love that show. Well, keep in touch. :-)

SpiralEyes | 04-06-09, 6:26 PM
Cool, thanks. I have Code Geass on my Netflix queue. I'll probably get it started in about a month or so. I'd get there quicker, except my husband and kids keep wanting to watch silly movies, so I really only get one at a time. hehe

I understand completely. Thanks for the message. I sent you a reply. I think voice actors deserve credit for what they do, especially if they have nice voices. But, I think going loopy over meeting one is over-the-top. Don't worry about me. If I saw a famous actor across the room, I might smile and nod, but I wouldn't get all crazy and bug him. :)

SpiralEyes | 03-25-09, 6:01 PM
I vastly prefer dubs, too. It's such a pain to read and watch. I always miss something. Especially if it's fast paced. I didn't have too much trouble with Darker Than Black, though. Which character does your relative's friend speak for?

SpiralEyes | 03-25-09, 10:09 AM
Cool! Sub or dub? I hope you like it. I watched it on animeboy.com. It was sub, but still okay. :-)
