You see a lot of lower scores about this movie. That’s by proxy of people not being able to appreciate what this movie is trying to be. They talk about the adaption or how it’s connected to the first movie but in my opinion it stands in its own. It’s a story of a man who at the beginning of the film find the courage to face his fears. It’s this fear that drives the rest of the plot. The action is amazing and it’s very much proves it’s self as a fate story through its animation. I think if you focus To much on ... the little details you can hate the amazing piece of work in front of you. Just go in with a open mind and you’ll be very surprised.

This show is hard to put into words, but it's easy to put into a single word "Edgy". I've seen my fair share of edgy shows, in total, this is about the 390th anime I've ever seen. And personally, I really enjoy edgily, I even enjoyed "King game" which was so edgy its intro was pure 2 minutes of hardcore rock, so I have some wiggle room to say that I should be the target demographic for this show. Yet I didn't enjoy it. Its because its tone is far from consistent. It will go from brutal and edgy, to "cute" and lighthearted. It really ... is jarring and left me annyoed. This isn't made for those who like edgy, and this isn't made for those who like lighthearted fantasy, so I have no clue who its really for.

The score you see is not one I came to easily. The show is so incredibly great, as I loved the story, the symbolism, and the art, but there is one massive downside. The downside is this show was too horny. Let me explain. I’d be watching a great scene about how life is hard for immortals, then bam, tits out in your face. Though some might like it, I personally find animated porn gross and find the fan service annoying. It really was jarring the amount of sex that was in this show, it is to such a point where I considered dropping this ... to a 7, but I felt that one aspect can’t ruin the whole show. Besides that the 3 main high points were 1) the music. The soundtrack was very metal which fit the show perfectly! 2) The story its self was always entertaining, and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time, with very cool twists and turns. Every episode was a solid 10/10. 3). The visuals were amazing, the show still looks greats over 13 years later, and that's quality you have to enjoy. Overall great show, id say a guilty pleasure even, but I cannot recommend this to anyone as it is so insistent on being horny

Evangelion is by far the most important anime in my life. I always talk about it, and have a sort of obsession with it. I love it so much that I picked up art just to ensure I could continue a connection with it, finally I’d consider the movie End of Evangelion my favorite movie of all time. So with a impossibly high bar, how does this movie hold up, well I think it crafts the best ending of Evangelion of all time. The movie finally has Shinji change and overcome his fears to help out his friends. The movie answers a lot of set ... up questions, like how this is technically a continuation of the series, and directly has several scenes which references the old Evangelion. The movie truly has the Evangelion ending as though it answers my questions and has left me satisfied, the movie ends with a great open ended ending which will have me pondering it for weeks to come. Honestly it was all I could have hoped for in a ending of Evangelion. It had great action, incredible art, amazing world building, insightful commentary, and a wrapping up of the series. Thank you Evangelion. Though I would still say I prefer “End of Evangelion” for how it shows third impact, 3.0+1.0 was the bow tie this series needed. I’m glad to be a fan of Evangelion and I hope the series can finally rest.

If you look at my Mal I’m someone who really loves anime, I often will rate shows higher then they are purely for the amount I enjoyed them. This is one of the few I can say I personally think everyone can agree on its degree of greatness. If you like sad romances with a female lead of has a disability, or a set back (ex: I want to eat you pancreas and silent voice) you’ll love this. If you don’t enjoy those as I’ve heard some people think they exploit for emotions, I’d still recommend this movie for the cinematography. It’s an aspect that ... not many people care about in filmmaking, but was very well executed in this movie. So if you want a tear jerker, this is the movie for you, or if you want a well crafted piece of art that you can geek over, this is also for you. Hope you enjoy it as much as me

A story will react to everyone differently. Some will agree with what I'm about to say, others won't. With that, I say all options are valid. For me this story was fantastic. I found myself with a smile at the end of every chapter as the story always found a sweet way to deal with the serious concept. On paper, a spy trying to save a world, married to a paid killer, with a kid who can read minds would leave many to think that this fake family is a ruthless one, but the joy this family shares with each other and the wholesome nature ... of it is something I really enjoyed. I went in expecting a darker story and was very happy to learn that the story its self is far from that, and it's really a story about trying to make those in your life happy while improving yourself. If you go in expecting that then you will love this story. Overall amazing show and I can't think of another story like this that resonated with me so much.

Before anything, the animation in this may be the worst I’ve ever seen. Like no jokes it’s practically photos with voices, that being said it’s so damn funny I could look part it. I understand that it may a style, but I personally thought that people that say it's going for a "manga-style" are just those kids that sit in the back of math class saying "why try we are all on a rock in the middle of nowhere" like yeah it may be true but your spin on it is way too pretentious. Though the art may be bad, the writing and comedy ... is god Teri and I think it may be the funniest show I've seen in a while. I really enjoyed the comedy and I strongly suggest watching this

one of my favorites types of anime to watch are those which are stupid, yet understand they are stupid. This show’s premise is every night people gather in stores all over to fight for half price bento boxes and if that doesn’t sound fun as a TV show idea then you must be a boring person. The show is pure insanity yet Carries it’s self with this insanity very well, the pure thrill of watching these people beat the every living hell out of each other all for a half off bento is such an entertaining and engaging process. The intro it’s self also slaps ... and get you in the perfect mood to watch this show, the only thing I wish is that episode 9 wasn’t in this show. Episode 9 was all fan service and really took me out of the show. Besides that the show was amazing and will serve as a guilty pleasure.

“life is but a dream” the saying is pretty self simple yet it stuck in my mind the entire time while watching this show. This was by all accounts a truly unique experience. I would say that this is one of if not the best revenge story Ive ever watched. The story follows the original book of the count of monte Crisco with some changes to the as its now in the future. The story its self was an amazing slow burn which each episodes added to this massive house of cards slowly hinting at something greater. Finally when the cards feel you could see ... the how the previous episodes tied in. Long story short the story was incredibly good. The dialogue had such intrigue yet never felt hard to follow. The punches of the final episodes between 18-24 were crazy and truly change the game. The art style was another crazy aspect, I cannot describe it better then a dream. When your in a dream nothing is truly right, but nothing is truly wrong. Thats how I’d describe this. The music was very peaceful and always hinted at the dark undertone. Finally the characters, Id not say that every character was flawless, but I remember all of them perfectly. Infant I don’t think I would have enjoyed them any others way. The only downside I have is the CGI. This show came out on 2006 and in that regard its shows with the CGI, but as long as you ignore that it was amazing. Truly a amazing show and I hope to find another like it soon.

Holy shucks did I love watching this show. The show was fantastic. So let’s get into why. The first thing I have to say is anime is weird. It’s sad as it often something that though continue reviewing you kind of lose A sense of awareness of it. It shows like these that brings out the weirdness which I am so dearly love from anime. This show offered one of the most unique experiences I’ve ever seen. Every episode followed new themes, some episodes had darker more serious scary terms, and others were super lighthearted and funny. I personally really enjoyed Episode 3 as I ... felt it encapsulates the show well. The one aspect of the show that I never felt really dropped had to be the animation. I can’t think of a single fight that I didn’t say “oh that looks good” or “Damn, kick it’s ass.” Really I enjoyed watching this. The characters were also amazing in the piecing in the show felt very fitting for the show. I really like how they introduce subtle hints to a deeper story behind the scenes which is slowly unraveled over the episode, it’s also weird to say that 13 episodes felt so long (in a good way) yet allowed for me to think “how is it already over” by the end credits. Finally the characters. Each character felt so unique and interesting, with so many on interactions among them. I really enjoyed the piecing together on how everyone knew each other. Overall this offered a weird, unique, fun, interesting, and overall engaging story. It shows like this that I watch anime for.
