(wow I'm late to reply)
Jade definitely makes Abyss, I will agree on that. He was brilliant. As for favorite, story wise, yes I'd definitely say Abyss. But Character & Gameplay wise, I feel like Vesperia is the winner, due to all the merch I bought for it. However due to space constraints, I had to sell some.
Ahh, a lot of people tend to say Symphonia. Feels odd considering I started w/ Abyss due to no gamecube when Symphonia had come out. But what I've played of Symphonia is good.
I know how that feels. I go on spells of inactivity here as well. Though it's odd coming back and seeing what's changed. And nice. Which is your favorite?
I see another Tales fan. It feels like back in '08 there were tons here, but now I don't see 'em that often.
But then again I rarely go into the forums these days or bother to be active
Yeah man, Symphonia was also my first. Yeah, and I also think it's kinda odd for Emil to be my favorite character out of all series. Just can't wait until Zesteria releases and Berseria after that.
I think they are, or atleast they are continuing on the Light Novel. That being said- I heard that Asuna got cut off, is this true? I think that Asuna made the entire first season really enjoyable. However I have no idea if I will enjoy SAO without Asuna, haha. I don't know why, but 'powerful' women seem to really peek my interest, maybe because they are so rare to find in anime.
That being said- how was Log Horizon? I haven't seen it myself yet- but it seems quite similar to SAO.
I didn't even know that SAO had a manga to begin with, haha.
I just somewhat hate the fact that I in some cases read a manga and it gets an adaptation later. It feels like I spoiled myself and therefor the anime is less enjoyable. That's just my opinion though. In some cases I read ahead of the anime, but the anime itself seemed less enjoyable after I knew what happened thanks to the manga. Did you ever try Visual Novels?
That's good to hear- I only have the issue with the fact that it's a Light Novel. You need to have a really big imagination for it to be entertaining. While manga's and Visual Novels help with the setting and illustration, Light Novels are purely words. Is this assumption right, or is it really easy getting used to?
Ah, same for me. SAO was one of my earlier anime, and definitely one of the better ones still. Are the Light Novels any good?
I have been trying to avoid it for a while now, but considering S3 airs in 2016 I might aswell start reading it.
Hello there, I was reading your about me section and just had to recommend The Witcher 3, if you haven't played it yet. It's an awesome game with a world that will suck you in. I also recommend you play the 2nd one before it and only play the first game if you don't mind a more old school styled RPG, it's kind of a slog to get through it. It has a lot of Eastern European influences in it but that makes it different and a unique game.
