Both are gorefests and involve people using their blood as their weapon and power and are psychological thrillers. The differences are that wonderlands story takes place in a prison whereas Tokyo ghoul takes place in the open city streets. Out of the two tokyo ghouls beats deadman wonderland in every category (characters, story, art, sound) but if all you want is gore then look no further.
