Preferences aside, I'm a casual anime watcher that is pretty open to most anime genres, although slightly biased towards moe/comedy.

My ratings for anime follow a normal distribution curve (look it up if you don't know what it is) with most anime rated around 4-7, a lot less for <4 and >7, with the extremes rarely used.
So if it's a 1 it's like really unwatchable.
If it's a 10 it's (In My Opinion) Perfect.
