I tried to make this review as long as I could and to detail as much as possible without spoilers, but there is nothing to say about it the product is really empty, even if you want to start overthinking / overacting, compared to some episodes.
I'm not interested in this kind of stuff and it's what die-hard fans usually do when they're too fanatical about something, and it's only to fill a gap in their favorite work, and it irritates a person who isn't necessarily a fan of the show and even fans, and it just doesn't make you want to watch.

Story: These are several ... separate episodes/compilations/short films gathering the most Gundam series, which was released so far, it's purely for the die hard fans.
And they don't tell anything relevant/interesting except to be entertaining I guess?
It tells a number of side stories, alternate scenes, that are obviously canon in the lore.

Art: It varies quite a bit, but it's very very often CGI mixed with average PlayStation 2 game graphics, it's pretty experimental and ugly for the date it was released.
Even if it would have been drawing and 2d, it wouldn't change anything to this disaster anyway.

Music: Nothing to remember about it, it's empty, it's a background soundtrack that you can hear anywhere.
You hear much more the sounds of the mecha weapons, than music or any semblance of background music.

Characters: Nothing to say about them, this anime/compilation doesn't bring them anything really important, except seeing them again in action for a banal secondary story.
And it's way too short to really judge the characters or even impossible in this compilation/short movie.
They appear just to make hardcore fans smile and because Gundam loves fan service and never stopped.

Enjoyment : Well I didn't get any, there is nothing interesting in this OVA, even for the biggest fans, it's a meaningless thing and not worth the time to invest in it, unless you want to consume all the content related to Gundam or always want more.

Overall: it doesn't bring anything interesting and it's a waste of time, it's too rushed and the execution is bad, I didn't really understand the point of this ova, even for die hard fans in need of content, I doubt they'll appreciate this thing.

I'm going to summarize the episodes below, without spoilers as much as possible, anyway there's nothing to say about it it's just empty and uninteresting for a lot of reasons, so if you're going to watch this ova anyway, free to choose to read or not, but nothing relevant will be stated, I just made synopsis/summary of the episodes.

Episode 1 = Amuro highlights, with the original Gundam, and a concentrate of 0079 action scenes, all in 6 minutes of episode, it's just a kind of Higlight/AMV.

Episode 2 = Zeta, a kind of augmented reality training/simulation for Kamille Bidan, to adapt/train, it's just a kind of report, and the animation is just similar to an average PlayStation 2/CGI game.

Episode 3 = Mobile Fighter G Gundam is a kind of advertisement, made with average PlayStation 2/CGI game graphics, it brings absolutely nothing.

Episode 4 = Mobile Suit Gundam Stardust Memory, a kind of entertaining action cutscene from a PlayStation 2 game.

Episode 5 = Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, a discussion between two characters who will be confronted because of fate and because they are two newtypes.

Episode 6 = FanService, it doesn't tell anything and it's not interesting, at the limit it can be entertaining, but it would be a lie.

Episode 7 = It's about the protagonist of Gundam Wing, I assume it's about his past/origin, I guess it's already been explained/displayed in the anime and its 8 minutes don't bring anything but an umpteenth CGI animation without much interest.

Episode 8 = Gundam Seed (if I'm not mistaken) again some action-entertainment and nothing more in CGI.

Episode 9 = Zeta, if I'm not mistaken and it's a weird episode too rushed and not enough built, it lasts 14 minutes to finally tell nothing.

Episode 10 = ZZ and it's still uninteresting, it's a kind of filler again, another pretext for fan service action.

Episode 11 = 0079, 9 days after the battle of Al A Bao Q, and it just shows the consequences of the war in a terribly badly executed way for no change.

Episode 12 = Zeta, focused on the character of Quatro Vagina and it's a pity it's too short, it's not a crazy episode but it's the best of all and it was watchable compared to the other purges.

Episode 13 = Zeta, and it shows the repercussions of conflict/war, again terribly executed.

Episode 14 = SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors, little Gundams in a feudal samurai Japan era, it's not to be taken seriously and it's meant for children.

Episode 15 = 0079, it adds events that we don't know to some characters, but they are minor and absolutely not important and whether it is canon or not, has no real importance/impact.

Thanks to this author for ruining one of the best protagonists of JoJo's and one of the best female characters of any manga.
This thing is ecchi/soft porn and it totally degrades what it is related to, that is to say the original work.
Even if it's not canon, the problem is that it gives a bad image outside the original manga, and that's the problem with this thing.
This spin-off is just a kind of filler/slice of life, nothing against this idea, the problem is that it's too much turned to sexualized situations for many scenes, as well as facial expressions out of ecchi, and it's disturbing.

Story ... 1/10 : The plot nothing to say about it, it would be spoilers and it's just one chapter, I can't expand on it, just to say that it puts Jolyne in an improbable situation, like many scenes of JoJo's, except that it pushes the limits and goes against what the original work does, that is to say that we find ourselves in cliché situations of perverse ecchi scenes.
It's not funny, what's the use of this thing? concretely it brings nothing to the characters/lore.
It's soft porn/ecchi, it's out of Jolyne character and makes her look ridiculous when she not a soft porn ecchi character, or a cliché female character.
This spin-off makes all the erotic scenes "funny" I feel like I'm reading a doujin fan fiction made by an amateur in one day so bad.
If you like ecchi, and it doesn't bother you to imagine a JoJo's ecchi spin-off it will suit you, personally it is not my case, I hate ecchi.

Art 3/10 : it's bad and once again classic and banal, you can find this kind of drawings anywhere, it's really amateurish and it's not transcendent at all.
And this kind of "kawaii - innocent" style straight from an amateur doujin doesn't fit with JoJo's universe, it's the kind of drawings that would go well with an ordinary ecchi manga or an old manga with shounen demorgraphy that dates from 80-90's.

Characters 1/10 : Completely ridiculous, it destroys the character of Jolyne, and all the work of Araki who loves his work, and who is part of his life, he himself must be biting his fingers by reading this shit.

Enjoyment 1/10 : sorry I'm not a consumer of ecchi and other crap intended for weebs, and that's all this spin off is, apart from damaging the reputation of a great work, this spin-off brings nothing but a waste of time.

Overall 1/10 : If you are a fan of JoJo's you can read it, to laugh or cry I guess, it's a very fast read, and it doesn't really bring anything except sexualizing a character, and turned her into a kind of ordinary ecchi girl.
If you like ecchi, and you think it's funny to see a spin-off of that on JoJo's and you consider it as a not serious reading (because it's not) you'll manage to like it I think.

I don't know how Hirohiko Araki could have given his authorization for this abomination, just by the unveiling of the cover I knew it was going to be bad with classic " chibi - cute " and cliché drawings.
At the same time Aimoto Shou, as was an assistant for Bleach, it doesn't even surprise me that it's so bad.
Personally I would have preferred that the authorization to write a spin-off be given to Sako, Toshio (author of Usogui) a fan of Araki, Araki even praised him.

This kind of sexualized scenes would never happen in JoJo's, there are some scenes that are quite perverse but it's not executed in a way that it's a kind of doujin/ecchi, soft porn just because it's "funny" to see a character in this kind of situation.
I swear it's the kind of people who thought that the masturbation scene was going to be animated in the anime, when it doesn't even exist in the first place, since there are no illustrations about it, just a conversation.

And yes it sexualizes Jolyne, we all know what happens in the first chapter of the original manga, but is it all illustrated in an ecchi way with aheagao expressions and sexual poses?
Well no, because this kind of thing is well executed and are minimal for the work, and above all it's a serious work, with a quite particular humor, and not cliché humor like "oh no senpai, I'm all wet I have to undress" - "oh this food is so delicious, insert a perverted facial expression of ahegao type".
In the original manga, there are dialogues/conversations, about perverse things, but they don't last 1 chapter, and they are not illustrated in explicit and disturbing ways as here.
And that's what's disturbing, the author is not even able to write a captivating story, he has to rely on the perverse scenes, for shock value.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken: Crazy Diamond no Akuryou-teki Shitsuren is a pretty good spin-off, a little bit fan service but it works well, this is the kind of spin-off we are waiting for not this crap.

This is my first review, I want to do it because, as a long time jojo fan i feel like this adaptation is getting only praise while having a lot of flaw that i will try to convey with my review.
And because I was quite impatient for the arrival of this anime.
This review is only dedicated to the first 12 episodes, and towards the end of the review, it contains some spoilers ( just after the Overall ) compared to the manga, of some scenes of the first 12 episodes.

So I will answer a simple question directly, is the animated adaptation of stone ocean ... a good adaptation of the manga, yes for the anime only, no for the manga reader.

Story : The story is relatively similar and follows the manga with unfortunately many scenes cut from the anime but overall the Flow is good even if we can complain about a pacing a little too fast it remains an adaptation of one of the best work of Araki

Art: correct in its globality, we can regret a too big number of CGI probably caused by a lack of budget or interest for the adaptation (total suppositions), we can also note that the animation is quite fluctuating in the bad sense of the term but this problem will surely be solved in the blue-ray version

Sound: Quite forgettable, the osts are not really striking, especially the theme of Jolyne, the one that stands out a bit is surely the one of Pucci, but it is not highlighted, every time a voice of a character goes over it. Even the sound effects are for the moment very poor but too hard to judge with only 12 episodes.

Characters: Once again in half-tone, some characters are very good while others are quite mediocre, the voice actors do a very good job except one that i will not name.
And also this review includes only the first 12 episodes, so it's not so judgemental, the potential of all the characters has not even reached their peak yet.

Enjoyment: Hard to judge coming from a reader of the manga who already knows the whole story, the adaptation suffers from the same problems as the manga but also has the same strength.
Globally an anime only will surely appreciate this adaptation but the manga reader will be disappointed by some details more or less
(I'm part of it, that's why I'll rate 6)

Cons:
- Problems with animation, face proportions, deleted scenes, continuity errors, paccing way too fast.
- The build up and the pace of the anime is too fast and doesn't let people enjoy it, no tension if you compare to the predecessors, everything happens so suddenly.
- The censorship/name localization is a bit annoying but it's not really a flaw that ruins the story (Pale Snake = White Snake, Gwess = Guess ect...)
- The animation of episode 11 is so ridiculous ( CGI ) in general the animation is mixed, it can be very good, as very bland/empty, which just gives the impression to watch fanmade, and we feel strongly a budget cut quite frequently strangely.
- I hate the dubbing of Pucci, it just doesn't work for this character, bad choice.
- Empty and unmemorable OST, whether it is for the action scenes or not, nothing is memorable.
- The manga will always be better, I mean it's not comparable, even if some scenes are very well done.

Pros:
- It's an adaptation so it makes the work even more famous and will encourage to buy a lot of things related to the work
- Jolyne voice is just perfect, the rest of the main cast is also adequate and works well with the characters, except for Pucci who is a big dud.
- The series is good for people who will discover it for the first time I guess... because they surely don't expect much, or haven't read the manga before.
- The anime adapts some scenes and some are better than the manga and it's good, same for some chara design of characters.

For the rest of the anime:
- I honestly hope that the cons I mentioned will be fixxed, even if some of them are not very possible.
- Stop overexploiting bad CGI like in episode 11/12, and also problems related to animation, face proportions, deleted scenes, continuity errors, etc.
- The Blu-ray version should surely fix this, but only for the animation.
- Having finished the manga, I can only imagine a lot of scenes in the future being overused by the cgi like they did in the last two episodes, and it's scary for the future.
- Make sure to improve the OST and make them more audible, instead of the talking characters whose voices are louder than the soundtrack.

Overall: Stone Ocean is a pretty big disappointment, it doesn't hold up to its predecessors in terms of staging, the execution is not the same as the previous part.
The quality was affected because of a certain streaming company that clearly rushed things (12 episodes released at once lol)
The build up and the pace of the anime is too fast and doesn't let people enjoy it, no tension if you compare to the predecessors, everything happens so suddenly.

I'll do two more edits, when the next 12 episodes come out and the same for the last ones to complete the review and not leave it just for the first 12 episodes, in that case it's not a review worth reading and taking into account.

Also I forgot to add some cut/replace scenes, it seems like the one with the stand in the elevator and probably others, which I probably didn't notice.

I also forgot to mention the mistakes/bad choice of subtitles and they are numerous, that's what happens when you employ young translators not too experienced, thanks to Netflix for that. ( there is a thread about it on Twitter )

And also they updated the design of Emporio recently, in relation to its Logo they made an update, because before it was like a badge without a logo, now it has one ( Dolphin ) and it's a small improvement worth mentioning.

The part below will contain some spoilers of scenes that were removed in the adaptation, so if you finished the first 12 episodes you can or not watch, if you plan to read the manga one day I think you shouldn't, if you already read the manga you can. ( volume 1-6 )

- They literally cut out the scene or scenes with Jolyne's hair where she's supposed to cut it, because that's part of the prison system.
And so a character comes in and he's a hairdresser, and if you have money, a fairly specific amount of money, he lets you through without cutting your hair.
- During the strip search, Hermes is supposed to appear and say "oh but that's Jolyne" and take her away, by the way there are also shirtless men, and Jolyne makes a comment about that.
- During the episode where Hermes is confronted to McQueen, she sees herself running away, once in the stairs of the prison Emporio explains to her that the stands have the particularity to attract each other.
Emporio takes her to the ghost room, she meets Weather and Anasui, Emporio explains her the stands and a little bit the history of the prison and the danger that the prison inhabits.
- In the first episodes (I don't know exactly when) we are presented with flashbacks to Jolyne's youth, before she was incarcerated.
Basically these elements are only presented later in the manga and not so quickly, it's a choice of direction I understand but honestly it's very poorly done as most of this adaptation and I feel that they don't have their place in the story right away.
- Anasui as a woman, not very important but still good to remember.
