Hi my name is Mr. Pink! Nice to meet ya'll. I am a southern person and as such I do not really fit in down here and have hardly any friends. I just recently started college for my Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Since I have no friends and get really lonely and bored I joined this forum to try and make some friends. Just some people to have light hearted conversations with or in depth fandom conversations with those who share my interests.

I am an easy going guy and get along with just about anyone. I just never was good at making friends with people (at least in person) so i just would really like to make some friends on here. Look through my interests or just PM me if you want to know more about me!

Im open to all friends but I think I should mention that I am a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic..... yes I know (i do not under any circumstances consider myself a brony). If any others enjoy this show then thank you! If not please just accept me for who I am. It is a show that helps me with my depression on days when nothing will cheer me up. Anywho yeah I look forward to my time here!!!!

I agree, however especially at this point I have over 300 or so titles still to watch. If I had the option to watch higher quality anime over lower quality I would obviously choose for the higher quality series. That being said, exceptions can be made like the series I just mentioned.
I just feel that some series have such a low quality that it takes the joy of watching away, and because I have so much to watch I feel that my time is better spend on titles that somewhat deserve it.

To be fair I get what you mean, Code Geass ( 2006 ) is also one of my favorite animes, but the only reason I was able to watch it was due to the HD remake. I don't think I would of enjoyed it if it still was 360p. The only anime that I watched in 360p at this point is Death Note, and I even almost dropped this one. The only reason I kept on going was simply because the story was so addicting.
Another older title is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni ( 2006 ) which I also really enjoyed, this title however was also relaunched in 720p.

I am not sure why, but I tend to not even consider watching animes that are 10 years or older. I think I've skipped alot of good titles simply because of their release date ;/.

I usually tend to avoid animes that are older then 10 years or so due to their quality, but if the story is good I might give it a shot.

Oh by the way- it seems like you've seen Nisekoi, have you found any animes that are similiar to it? I have been searching for quite some time but haven't found the same style as Nisekoi offers.
The romantic/comedy aspect that is.

That's the same response I had haha, for whatever reason I thought of a romantic novel or whatever. But to a certain extent I think that's true though- most of the Visual Novels do focus around romance.
In some cases it focuses on action / horror or even comedy.

Visual Novels are basically 'video games' where you need to read to continue. For example the Fate series has also been adapted from a Visual Novel.
I think you know what Visual Novels are, but because you might never heard of them before it's somewhat new to you.

Yeah the same goes for me, I don't mind reading manga but I only read it if the anime has an ending that is somewhat frustrating and I simply want to keep the story going.
I am not that much against reading from my PC, but reading in a physical form is more enjoyable though, just a different experience overal.

How about Visual Novels? Gave you ever tried them?

Yeah I did the same- adding more little by little. Else you would spend hours and hours adding in animes which is insanely boring.

I am also biased lol, I am also giving 10's out like they are nothing, while some people on here give a 7 to their favorite series. But you should really watch Code Geass, something you will probably really enjoy.
