Kakegurui is one of my most favourite manga ever.

It's absolutely brilliant. It's a masterpiece.

1. The art is AMAZING. The art is beautiful. It's very different and so unique. I frankly love reading the manga just for the art. 10/10

2. The story line. One word. Crazy. There's a shit tonne of gambling, half the time you don't know what's going on, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. 9/10

3. Characters. The mfc is absolutely badass. She's a fucking genius. And for once we don't have a male dominant manga, but a female who challenges the student council. Yumeko is absolutely brilliant, and a ... freaking lunatic, and all the characters are very intriguing, each having their own personality and insanity.
The mmc is kinda there, not exactly doing anything. It''s honestly funny how he reacts to the crazy antics of Yumeko. 9/10

4. The overall experience is awesome. I'm still reading the manga as it is still publishing, but trust me once you pick it up you won't be able to put it back down again. It's non-cliche, badass, intense brain games, and the stakes of the games are absolutely demented. 9/10

I'd give this outstanding manga a 9/10

Guy has a crush on a beautiful girl. Another girl agrees to help him with that girl. Girl 2 slowly starts to fall in love with guy. Guy is confused about his feelings. Girl 1 also starts falling in love with guy.

Cliche love triangle. Oh, the wonder of youth.

Now, if you think this is what the story is about, you are absolutely correct. AND absolutely wrong.

Because the end is a mind fuck.

The genre given for this anime are harem, drama and romance. Oh boy, how misleading. It should be, romance, harem, PSYCHOLOGICAL and slight ecchi.

If you are looking for a sweet high school romance with ... a love triangle and drama, please leave, because the end will come to you like slap in the face.

If you do plan to watch it, prepare to watch an anime that's tolerable till the last episode and then you go WHAT THE FLAMINGO JUST HAPPENED.

The mc is a douche btw, he's the absolute worst. He's DISGUSTING.

Be ready for the worst. You will be getting your high school romance, but you'll also be getting a side dish that you DO NOT expect.

Yakusoku no neverland.

I'd heard about it, a lot, but never actually got around to watching it. But then my friend forced me to, and I was deeply surprised with the anime. I binged watched it in a day.

I'll give a step by step review about the show.

1. Story line. I'd give it an 8/10. The story line, though at the beginning seems a bit silly, lowly progresses and becomes quite deep as the story continues. It's not exactly what you expect, or for some people exactly what they expect, and it doesn't really have the 'wow' factor to it ... at the start, but later it develops into something quite.... interesting.

2. The art. The art is VERY good. It's definitely a 9/10. It perfectly portrays the different emotions the characters are facing, and some scenes actually make the characters look quite psychotic. It's a pleasure to watch and the general style of the art is pretty advanced.

3. Sound. One thing I love about the show is it's opening theme song. It's awesome, badass, makes you want to run around and kill some ninjas. It's really nice, and perfectly suits the show. Even the OST and the background music perfectly fit the scenes and emotions at that point of time. Sound wise, i'd give it a 9/10.

4. Characters. I love all of them. One thing about the show is that almost all the characters have a part to play. I love the three main characters. One is especially absolutely adorable. You'd know who I'm talking about when you watch the show. All the children are easy to love, and the villains easy to hate. Sometimes, you don't know who is good, or who is bad, and this definitely brings in the psychological aspect of the anime. The mcs are super smart, strong, not pussies and are awesome. Sometimes you just question your existence because all of them are probably smarter than you'll ever be and they're bloody ELEVEN YEARS OLD. Characters are a 9/10.

5.Overall. In the end, this anime should absolutely be on your watch list, as it is definitely one of the good horror anime. We don't have very many of those, and the promised neverland is definitely something horror fans or psycho-thriller fans should check out. Even though it's an anime about 11 year old kids, trust me, it's awesome. The brain games are awesome, and the fact that they are all not even in their teens is... woah.

I give it an overall rating of 9/10. Anxiously waiting for season 2 >~<
