Girl's Last Tour and Kemurikusa take place in a very similar setting, a gray, post-apocalyptic, desolate, and very far into the future wasteland of sorts. If you are interested in mysterious landscape that makes you curious to see what could happen next I would highly recommend both shows.

These movies share a similar plot in a sense of boy meets mermaid and magical endeavors ensue. Ponyo and Lu over the wall are two very differently stylized movies respectively. If you enjoyed Ponyo and want to see a different approach to boy meets mermaid with added musical elements I would recommend Lu over the wall.

Kimetsu no Yaiba reminded me of Inu Yasha, both shows center on our male lead and involve demon slaying. The setting is historical Japan, and the characters are very fleshed out, even the demons get some of their own backstories. If you've seen Inu Yasha and would like a similar experience, Kimetsu no Yaiba is a fantastically animated shounen with it's very lovable characters and bits of comedy throughout.

Kemurikusa reminded me of Houseki no Kuni not only in the similar cg art style but also with a very similar feel or aesthetic. Both shows are sci-fi with action and constant mystery and natual curiosity of what their seemingly apocalyptic world has to offer. These shows don't rely on cliffhangs rather intigue the audiance with its diverse cast of characters and interesting world and character building. If you enjoyed the aesthetic of one show I would highly recommend the other.

SSSS.Gridman reminded me of Bleach when I was first watching the show. Gridman and Bleach both share a similar action/slice of life balance to each episode. Each episode there is good character building and also plenty of action/flighting scenes. The characters in Gridman also reminded me of those in Bleach, the side characters mostly, they aren't necessarily human and have a supernatural kind of twist. If you enjoyed Bleach and want to try something a little different I would recommend SSSS.Gridman.

Mahoutsukai no Yome and Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara have a similar vibe when watching both shows. They share a similar vibrant color palette and have a very whimsical way of putting great attention to detail to the background and foreground art in each scene. The setting in both shows are similar, a modern day society where magic is an accepted thing in society and mages live amongst normal people. If you're looking for a world that you can get absorbed into, I would recommend both shows.

I got a similar feeling while watching Koi wa Ameagari no You ni to when I watched Amaama to Inazuma. Both have a sort of student/sensei relationship and end up spending a large amount of time together and the show lets the viewer watch their relationship grow throughout the series. Koi wa Ameagari our main character actually has developed feelings for her manager, whereas in Amaama it's a platonic relationship. Each shows can be both lighthearted but also very serious at times. If you enjoyed watching a high school aged girl spend time with an older adult male and the activities that surround them I would recommend the other show as well.

Bananya and Micciri Neko are both short shows focused on cats, each episodes features a certain characters and highlights them at the end. These two shows are animated very similarly and have the same sort of set up each episode. I would say both are kid-friendly and fairly laid back. If you liked one I would recommend the other.

Yuru Camp reminds me of Non Non Biyori in it's overall atmosphere. Both shows are extremely relaxing with some moments of comedy and character building. A lot of the screen time for both shows are focused in the outdoors or 'in the middle of nowhere'. If you're looking for an enjoyable laid back show I would recommend both. Yuru Camp focuses on camping and Non Non Biyori is more comedy and slice of life focused and takes place in extreme rural Japan. Each capture the beauty of the landscape and simple life.

When I was watching Yuru Camp I immediately was reminded of Long Riders by the long peacefully scenic shots of mountains and landscape. Both shows feature cute girls doing outdoor activities. Long Riders focuses on riding bikes; Yuru Camp focuses on camping. Both series have a similar feeling when watching them, very relaxed and cute. Both shows also teach the viewer a lot about the activity they're doing and go in depth on biking/camping. If you enjoy slice of life, cute girls doing cute things, and friendship building I would recommend both shows.

Yuru Camp and Yama no Susume both focus on outdoor activities, Yama no Susume more about hiking mountains and the journey involved with doing so. Yuru Camp is largely focused on camping. Both shows feature a cast of female characters, high school age, and all very moe and cute. They have a similar atmosphere when watching, very relaxed and calming with beautiful scenery. If you are looking for a cute girls doing cute things type of show and want an easy laid back story about making friends and doing outdoor activities I would recommend both shows.

Itsudatte Bokura no Koi wa 10 cm Datta is more focused on one main couple from the original movie, but this couple is extremely similar to the main couple from Konbini Kareshi. They both take place in a high school setting and a very similar basic cast of characters. If you enjoyed one I would recommend the other for a similar story and overall feeling.

Koe no Katachi and AnoHana share similar character traits and senarios. Each series revolves around a group of 'friends' who have cut ties since childhood and brings them together again. These two series also have similar main characters, male lead with a serious disconnect from the real world and a tragic female lead. You get a similar feeling while watching both these series, they're very emotional and dramatic. If you have seen one I would highly recommend checking out the other for a similar story and emotional expierence.

Kanojo to Kanojo no Neko and dareka no Manazashi are both very similar in tone and atmosphere, cool tones and a sad underlying feeling with a heartwarming ending. The main character in each series are very similar, young female aduts living on their own gaining independence from their parents. In these two series they also have a large focus around their cat and family. If you enjoyed one you will be pleased with the other for another emotional ride.

Gakkougrurashi and Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryoukou share a similar setting, they're are both post-apocalyptic. Gakkougurashi relies on bright colors and comedy with a splash of psychological drama. Where Shoujo Shuumtasu Ryouko might seem a lot slower paced with less dialogue but both shows do give off a similar vibe of eerie discomfort with moe style. If you've seen one I would recommend the other for a similar setting and overall world feel.

The setting makes the viewer want to know more about the enviornment and what might happen next as each show gives off an almost uncomfortable vibe. Made in Abyss may be more fantasy than Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryoukou but both are very sci-fi in setting, each show have extremely interesting worlds' and compell the viewer to keep watching to see what happens next. These shows are great adventure stories that also have some very serious moments that can put the viewer on edge. If you've seen one I would recommend the other for a very compelling and interesting world with a solid story line that leaves you asking questions.

Gamers and Konobi share a very similar premise, each are about a group of students in a club. Konobi is an art club focused show and Gamers is, well, about gaming. Each show gives you a similar vibe when you're watching it, the humor is similar and character interactions are also really similar. In both the shows there's a main male and female protagonist and in each show they share a love interest to add to the comedic factor. If you've seen Konobi and enjoyed it, I would recommend Gamers for a similar experience.

Nichijou and Kobayashi are both shows that give you a similar vibe in comedy. Nichijou is comedy focused where Kobayashi has some fantasy and more serious moments as well. Both shows are lighthearted and give you the same feeling and are animated by Kyoto Animation. If you have seen one or the other I would highly recommend the other to you. You'll be in for a very comedic and character driven story.

Rewrite and Shoushin Shoujo Matoi share some similar characters and similar atmosphere/feel to the show. In each there are supernatural things that mesh into society. There are also several organizational groups in each show that all seem to be after one goal. Each of these shows throw a lot of information at you at once and they also try be comical. Shoushin Shoujo Matoi involves magical girls and rewrite has much more supernatural plot twists in each character. If you enjoyed one I would recommend the other.

Amanchu has diving and Long Riders is about cycling, the main character of each show is very new or never tried the new sport and has a friend to teach them everything there is to know while making new friends along the way. If you enjoyed the relaxed slice of life vibe from either show I would recommend the other.

If you enjoyed the setting or atmosphere of either show I would recommend trying the other for a similar scenario to carry out.

Gakkougurashi has a group of high school girls and Tokyo Magnitude has an adult and two younger children. Both shows feature survival in different ways of how society would handle tragedy. These shows also have a psychological twist to them and showcase the main characters different ways of grieving.

Arakawa and Jinrui share a very similar setting, both are very sci-fi and strange filled with eccentric characters and general oddities. The main plot in each show is very random, Arakawa focuses more on gag comedy, and Jinrui is more set in a fantasy/future setting that's pretty 'out there'. If you enjoyed the bright visualizations and art style from either show, quirky characters, and/or pure fantasy/sci-fi setting I would recommend trying the other.
