Short but sweet. Animation is nice and stands out at certain part. While there's not to much of a real plot going on in the story you still get a feel for the characters and find them pretty enjoyable.
Now that twist tho...
just a warning, it will cause you to stare into the abysmal space of nothing any where from 5 min to the rest of your life wondering if whether you're angry or not.

Wow. Well I thought this anime was actually really good. I really enjoyed the story and I thought it was well put together, I haven't read the manga so this coming from someone who's only watched it, so if you felt the anime didn't do it justice bear with me.
The animation was really smooth but at times they could be a little slacking when it wasn't important but they never failed us during a battle which is what I love. Some animes tend to slack during battles and take the beauty out of them. So if you're into a good fight I'd suggest it. ...

At first believing it was going to be an action/magic kind of anime you soon realize that’s not the case and there’s a much deeper meaning to this anime. Probably the best representation of a coping mechanism for the fear of growing up. I really enjoyed this anime, the plot, characters, animation, and the ending. While some animes tend to break and leave a concluding episode that doesn’t really address the main theme, Chuunibyou keeps it’s shit together. Let’s just forget about how I sat there for a while screaming “I DON’T WANT IT TO END!” Oh god. Where do I start… That anime was SO good in my opinion. I loved every single character including Kagerou despite his strange obsession with humiliation and S&M, he'll give you a good laugh. I loved all the humor and the super natural twists.
