It's right up there with Johnny Cage's crotch punch. I used to use that way too often. I may have lost more bouts because of it, but it was a much classier way to beat someone down.
Reminds me of similar moves in Tekken, I forget which one, Nina's kick to the love spuds always made me wince and a lesser known Bloody Roar where a certain gut punch would make them vomit. Good times!

I love dressing up; its fun and I feel pretty :) Not something I do often though. I think I understand what you're saying about forming friendships but I have made some really good friends with people I don't necessarily have anything in common with; it can be difficult, but I TRY cherishing the differences in people. But on the other hand, for truly lasting friendships, its true that having lots of shared interests plays a vital role in keeping a perpetual bond.
I love video games but I have fallen out of the intense gaming sessions I used to have in high school. I have talked myself out of buying the Wii or the PS3 for the sake of concentrating on school. I would try to justify spending the money so that either the system would collect dust or my grades would. So I recently hooked up my N64 for the first time in a long time and have been playing Zelda. I've beaten the game several times already but it brings back many fond memories. Although, there was a time when I could easily sit and play over 10 hours of an rpg; I can't anymore, I can no longer spend so much time for the sake of a virtual accomplishment (e.g. Yeah! New limit break!).
Over a 100 fanfics?! Thats impressive! I like thinking about other ways a story can develop but I never make manifest those thoughts into a fiction. Texts do have character limits otherwise people would type out 500 word essays. I just easier for me to call and say whats on my mind than to type it out on tiny little keys. I think my favorite form of communication is speaking face to face. I don't always get to do it and each time I do it serves as practice so that I can be a more eloquent speaker (cause I'm certainly not when I speak face to face). I'm not much of a phone talker unless its with someone who really gets me going on a topic.

I have to say that we do similarly agree about people who fail to keep our interest. I can participate in simple arbitrary conversations but that can be a stretch for me. I too like the deep, philosophical, intellectual, mind-stimulating conversations. I often fail to entertain idle chatterboxes and as a result, I may be viewed as a bitch but this is just how I roll. Haha!
I laugh at people and myself (because I do the same thing). They get out of class and call their friend, who they talked to an hour ago to say, "Hey! Yeah, I just got out of class. Where are you? Okay, well give me a call later." Yeah, let me know when you took your last breath or blinked. The conversations don't necessarily have any meat to them but everyone is walking on campus with a phone to their head to have these trivial conversations. Ever get into a fight with a boyfriend through text? Talk about exhausting trying to prove your point in 50 characters or less. I like texting when I am trying to be quiet and when I need quick info but typing an essay worth of words in a text is annoying.
What fanfics have you written? I read a couple FF7 fics back in the day but I never really explored fanfics. With all the non-fictional researching I do, I find balance in anime. It seems to keep the kid in me content and nurtured. Its funny, I get embarrassed at times explaining to certain people (professors, department heads) why I know some Japanese. These people are like starched dress shirts and the stares I get when I tell them I watch Japanese cartoons; kinda funny, slightly awkward. But its no matter, I love my cartoons :)

I think the show was fairly objective; it looks at technology from multiple perspectives. I really enjoyed the part about students writing essays and multi-tasking. The essay itself will become choppy, the ideas aren't fluid and don't transition smoothly. I hate to say it, but even your comment (which I loved) wasn't fluid. I'm not saying that your message was supposed to be or this message will be, I'm kinda on a time constraint myself :P But thats just a point that the show was making; we rely on being constantly distracted by tangent thoughts. I know multi-tasking makes a person super but every coin has two sides. Can a life a multi tasking ultimately make a person incapable of staying focused? Is losing focus beneficial?
As much as I rely on technology and love the immediate gratification I get from using it, sometimes I just want my brain to be quiet. No thoughts, no gears turning. I wonder if a lifetime of constant sound and thought can have negative effects. What about our attention spans? What if you reach a point to which you can't wait for anything to end or begin? Conversations, phone calls, e-mails, newspaper articles; what if everyone became so good at multi tasking that their attention spans indeed degraded and in turn, people would have a hard time finishing the many tasks they started.
I myself can multi task but the more I do, the less efficient I become. I need to stay focused; its the way my brain processes things. Especially when it becomes a complicated task. I can't read journals and listen to my underground hip-hop simultaneously. Two sets of words running through my head is hard for me to concentrate. An instance of when I can multi task; I currently am working on assessing nitrogen isotopic concentrations in groundwater of a little town. I read lots of scientific journal articles, and text my friends, and google recipes, check my facebook, play solitare and then repeat the same paragraph in the article I was reading cause I kinda lost track. Haha! I guess I'm slow and dumb and I apologize if I wasn't able to hold your attention from being redundant and such. Nevertheless, thank you for taking a fraction of your attention to watch the show and send me your thoughts XD
P.S. I drive a standard car in a city of psycho drivers (me included), I don't dare use the phone and drive.
