This is an anime series that is extremely short, actually more like a mini-series that sets the whole relationship among characters. Slightly empty plot-wise, but it gives the viewers mostly a very warm feeling as they understand how the characters interact with each other in a generally productive way. It's very realistic of Japanese schoolgirls interacting with each other. But I have to say that the story is very straight-forward with no frills attached as the main purpose of the story came from a manga that introduces the hobby of mountaineering. You know, a huge chunk of what Japan is in a nutshell.

Air (Anime) add
I watched this during my early teens and with my bookworm-ish persona being kicked in to watched the anime. It's a very heavy anime in terms of how the story develops to the viewers of anime. So many tear-jerking moments for me. Now after this and being more accustomed to Japanese media culture in general, it does make me feel like Air (the whole anime series in question) is like a high-budget J-dorama that is animated instead. I like it. I like the general mood and the presentation of this. However, I don't think I can watch it again.

If I can describe the end of ...

If you are a native speaker of English as well as being interested in 2000s American culture and politics, you have your luck. Just watch the dubbed version that is more valuable than the original Japanese voices. I must admit. I didn't like the original Japanese version due to how it is ver difficult to grasp the cultural context.

It was a genius move to make the English dub into a dark comedy that offends everybody for the sake of comedy. I can't count how many times I laughed at this. But the replay value is extremely small. Just ignore the Japanese voice and you are ...

To Heart (Anime) add
I recommend this anime for several reasons.

1. to experience how this is a pinnacle example of 90s school drama anime that can be very experimental by dabbing with elements of slice-of-life and iyashikei

2. to understand what emotions are, how complicated can they be

3. to show that harem anime doesn't always need to have fanservices

4. to feel that one isn't alone even in dire (or feeling-wise uncertain) situations as the whole storyline feels like an Aesop lesson

It is a very SFW-oriented harem anime that I like when I was in middle school and was recommended by my much older cousin saying "yo, here's an anime with awesome OP and ED themes".

The whole story being somewhat incomplete in many ways completes the theme of the story. That is letting things go. The MC is definitely not the star of the show. But really and seriously. Who is the star of this anime series? My conclusion is that it is not a character in Sister Princess, but more like love, specifically about light-hearted love for others very close to you.

I personally believe it's ...
