I know, but OP was so awesome that I simply couldn't spend more then "5 episode slots" for other anime, I almost watched only OP.
And now I feel as if I haven't been watching anime in a long time(it's a trip, I know)...So I'm just spending the same amount of time I spent on OP on other anime now, and I'm just blazin' through my PLAN list.

Apparently so; I would read the manga just to get a bit more of One Piece, but like I've said, I REALLY don't want to spoil anything, so I'm sticking to the anime.
He kicks ass. Period. I've had a ton of other pictures to choose from, but I stuck with the more eye-catching one.

It's weird to be free of One Piece...
I like finished a dozen series or OVAs since I got up2date with OP(well, currently on pause since ep 410)
Hell, I even resumed and finished Rosario plus Vampire Season 2 from my dropped list.
It's like I've been caged and was hungry for something else and them just went on a frenzy xD

Okay, so I'm done with the series; I pretty much keep my statement. And as a mini-review to get a better idea...
The series looks good technically; the visuals are nice and the music is fitting throughout. Nothing to complain about, really. The story is somewhat like the one in Mushishi, in a way; I'll spare you the synopsis, because you can look it up right on MAL. Each episode deals with another spirit, or a bunch of spirits, Takashi (our hero) has to fight off or release them from their contracts. It's pretty basic, and it works, but it fails to reach greatness.
Characters are all likable, but just like the story, they don't really stand out; they fulfill certain roles, and that's that. I did however become fond of a cute, spirit-fox-trap... yeah ^_^'
And for the anime as a whole, you need to know that it has comedy, action (when Takashi or one of the heroes fights other spirits) and hints of drama and romance. It's also a slice-of-life type. There's also a very strange feeling of positiveness coming from the anime.
Aaaanyway, I'd recommend watching it; short and sweet, with a bunch of interesting ideas and situations.

Yeah, pretty much; although, it's only natural to feel that way, in a sense. In the anime they padded out a lot of scenes with music and random shots of landscape, whereas in the manga everything is compressed and to the point; well, I still had my problems with overdevelopment of characters, but I would hate to start bitching about what I didn't like once again... ^_^'

As you can see, I've finished reading Monster; conclusion ? Pointless to read it. It's pretty much 1:1 with the anime.
On another note, it seems that I'm starting to like the whole thing less and less as I reflect upon the story and characters.
