De hecho tenia planeado hacer otras de los 90s y principios de los 2000s JAJAJAJA, ahora que estaré de vacaciones puede que las empiece a hacer
Naoki Urasawa's work started with the anime YAWARA; 21st Century Boys and Billy Bat seem like they would be difficult to animate, so I'd rather read the manga than wait for this one to be animated. The reason why it seems to be difficult to make anime is that the total number of episodes of 12 or 13 episodes of recent anime is not enough, and also because it is not a manga with cute girls and not for everyone....
I'm also using my computer a lot of the time when I'm typing in MAL. Last but not least, Happy New Year.
In case you are wondering, comic magazines are also raising their prices. I felt a great sense of discomfort when I bought them for the first time in decades. Manga magazines are now labeled as "price and tax" in consideration of the possibility of a consumption tax hike.
Well, if I had never sold or otherwise disposed of any of the manga I bought, there would have been more than 2,500. Even now, I have about 1,000 books and 150 light novels in my room. I also have more than 200 doujinshi in my closet. When I get hooked on a doujinshi, the number increases by about 30 at once.
To you, it must be a crazy number of books, but at least I can still see the floor!
In the library, popular manga are checked out so often that many of them are falling apart and deteriorating. As for Black Butler, I recently had to repurchase only the volumes that had deteriorated...
Also, "The World is Mine" is volume 14, and with the information that it is currently out of print, you are correct, there are 5 separate volumes available, but I'm basically a person who wants to read it in the first version, so if I were to read it, I would prefer volume 14. If I buy it and put it on my bookshelf, I can sell Naoki Urasawa's Master Keaton to make room, but since I love Naoki Urasawa's work, I doubt that's likely to happen!
At any rate, I've bought too many shoujo manga in bulk right now, so I won't have the time to buy new manga to read until I've read some of them.
In Japan, prices of many things, including food, have been going up recently. Manga prices are actually higher than they were at one time. Also, more and more people are getting rid of their manga books as part of the cleaning process, since they spend quite a bit of time at home. On the other hand, though, some people are buying them.
Oh, sometimes I get rid of about 100 books at once at the most, so I might sell 30 books to a less expensive category. I only owned about 30 books when I was a student. You're right, I'm organizing for the reason of saving space. I guess I sold the books because I didn't like what was in them, or because I wasn't likely to read them again. And sometimes I buy them back to read them again. Also, they have manga books at the library, so I've let go of a few types of books that I'm happy to borrow from the library and read.
Hideki Arai's "The World is Mine" is a manga I first learned about from your comment, but from the synopsis I read on Wikipedia, it was my favorite. I think it's one of those manga books that's a pain in the ass and hard to find in Japan, since the single volume manga books are out of print. This one, even if I bought it, would take up a lot of space on my bookshelf.
