With that said, I've been studying Japanese arduously all summer long. How are you doing?

Anyway! It's summer and this is the perfect time for me to read Kurogane no Linebarrel after having completed Trigun Maximum. I also intend to finish Digimon V-Tamers too.

Other than that, I'll be waiting for Back to School Day for shopping.

Btw, my ex-girlfriend named Holly will be 31 later this month. Nowadays, she lives the Amish life, but hey! no regrets, at least we had a lot of fun several years back. Even so, I wanted to give her Splatoon as a present for being a wonderful friend.

I also can't wait till Valentines Day comes as well as Digimon Survive's release. I'm glad Namco isn't rushing the game like Gamefreak did with Sword and Shield.

Sometimes, I want to go to Asia and see how fun Chinese New Year will be on early February.

So I watched Joker and it's the best neo-noir movie in years. I wish that neo-noir were more common in recent anime, I prefer that genre to teen-friendly action anime, which is generic and uninspiring these days.

Hey Towa! got any exciting plans this September? I'm dying to see the Joker movie since I love dark as well as very mature movies.

I was very busy lately, but I'm fine and Fafner is kind of a long series.

Hey Towa! how are you doing? as you can see, I'm watching Fafner Exodus season 2 and I can't wait to watch the new Fafner movie. Last Fafner movie I watched was Heaven and Earth. Oh yeah! and Sunrise owns most of Xebec iirc.

Yeah! I've thinking of using Shujinkou for studying Japanese, but I would also love to compare it to "My Japanese Coach".

Anyway! I heard about this Shujinkou game and thought maybe you might interested in something that can teach you Japanese. Iirc, there was a DS game that helped people learn the language.

Ok, so I finished Witchblade and it's got some touching mother to daughter relationship moments. I recommend watching it when you're tired of the same old anime formula. Another anime that I found out of the ordinary is Nodame Cantabile, not bad for music-themed anime, now I'm watching the 2018 Lupin (the only anime so far that has one or more things in common with my favorite anime, Cowboy Bebop.)

About movies, I'm looking forward to seeing Black Adam some time. I used to be into superheroes as a kid, but now I got a soft spot for vigilante stuff.

So anyway, now that I'm done with Votoms, I can finally watch Witchblade, another rated R anime. As a 2006 anime, Witchblade's artwork and CGI looks splendid. As for future anime, I can only cross my fingers and hope that various psychological josei manga get adapted.
