Trigger warning: chapter 29: straight up rape extortion.
I'm not sensitive to this stuff, but it blindsided me so hard it actually just made me feel like shit.
The bullying in the first 2 chapters might seem like a lot, but it softens up quicly. Not too unlike another bullying manga/anime. After that its just standard echi, albeit rather raunchy. Story: The first few chapters follow 1 off stories that let us get to know Kaname before we dive into any form of actual plot. We are given his motivations and quirks, as well as an understanding of his overall mannerisms. The story the really picks up and helps flesh out Kaname's character as well as developing 1 other key figure.
Art: The art is rarely jaw dropping but it is far from bad. When it needs to hit home it really does and the facial features certainly never disappoint. just don't expect any detailed backgrounds, not that they are needed. characters: We are given 2 characters ... |
