This was very boring. I can believe how long it was push back, in fact I could not remember what had happened before, so I re-watched the previous episodes in preparation, all for nothing.

The first half: it is totally inconsequential, the characters lose their money in the most irresponsible way imaginable, as one bureaucrat shuts down the entire squad. If the European military is run like that they deserve to lose.
The whole gipsy sub plot is pointless. I get they were trying to flesh out the characters and give them relations beyond just fighting, but it serves no purpose, except fill time. In fact ...

Mixed Feelings
It is a very mediocre anime, I am not saying that as an insult, it's just the best description of the show.

Character: they all are recognizable anime stock characters. The distant, overly-capable love interest, the hero that needs to grow up, the friend with a support role, several side love interest who don't stand a chance; anyway all very well done but with no excitement. The main character is the weakest link, since he is just the hero as designated by the plot, he goes into the dungeon as every other adventurer, but because he got an special ability which lets him level up faster ...

Mixed Feelings
The Space opera genre is one of my favorites in any medium and so is mecha so this anime should have been and all time classic for me, and sadly it is not the case.

First the story, is really broad full of stereotypes and for the most part is very predictable. There are no major twist, the characters have very specific roles in it, so you know where everything is going to go, and that makes it a chore to watch.

Animation and sound, both are fine. Nothing really spectacular, the design for the mecha is a little generic, but they move nicely during combat or ...

Texhnolyze (Anime) add
The quintessential series that is "not for everyone". A show which its enjoyment heavily depends on the observer, but I would like to dispel that notion.

Texhnolyze is certainly a difficult anime, as you see it the story becomes more serious and it becomes clear with every passing episode that the conclusion won't be a happy resolution. And yet that is the hold point of the journey, here you have a show concerning the transformation of the human essence once the pick of the race has long past. The cast are here to represent different aspects of our species and in their different arches will ...

This a very strange anime keep in mind that if you seek to watch it. For me it was conceive to showcase the worst aspects of human civilization, so the main character is an anti-hero in the full sense of the term, no a Walter White type where you empathize with him in some levels, this is a full born war machine which only seeks to kill.

Appropriately the rest of the cast has very little redeeming qualities, so is hard to like any of them, much less care about their demise. This is why while watching this anime you must have constant awareness of ...

Mixed Feelings
This is one of those series in which you get a wonderful premise, at the start is well executed, nut then after a certain point everything falls apart. Which makes it very frustrating, is it good?

Well...yes, if you see it you will certainly get a lot from it. It introduces some principles of quantum mechanics in order to serve as a main plot engine, to deal with parallel realities, and they are presented competently at mostly accurately, thus in addition to be entertain you'll learn something, and all goes great for 60% of the duration.

Then it introduces some twists and revelations that do not ...

Kingdom (Anime) add
A brave anime in an era of fan service and product placement.

Imagine a large production that has nothing to do with high school, with no fan service, with a well thought and developed story that actually takes its time to mature, strong characters and actual moral impact. Such a thing cannot exist in a time when costs of animation sore, and yet it does, almost a miracle.

It is an enjoyable series that has taken many risks, from the animation point of view with its 3D effects, to the moments when the story stops to explain medieval military tactics, and last but more shocking the fact ...
